Everything you need in a range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying this is the best range I have ever had. I feel like Samsung thought of everything when designing this. It has so many different sizes of stove top burners, 2 of which that have a smaller and larger setting. This makes it so you can always find a burner that's the exact size of your pan for the best heat transfer and efficiency. It also heats up faster than any electric range I've had before. This applies to both the stove and oven. I absolutely love the convection feature. I've never had a convection oven before and so far I've just used it for everything instead of the traditional oven feature and it cooks everything so much better and more evenly. Additionally, I love the smart features. This is my first smart kitchen appliance and it's made life so much easier. I can just finish working from my office and preheat the oven for dinner. Or I can get a handy alert when it's done preheating or when the timer goes off. Also, I love how clear the glass is to see in the oven. Previous ovens I've owned, even when new don't have a very clear glass to see the progress of your cóoking without opening the oven. This glass is super clear with the light on (which again can be controlled by your phone). Lastly, I love the touch features and how it's on the front of the range rather than the back as my house has a fairly low mounted microwave so the rear controls on my previous range we're very inconvenient as I'd have to bend down to see them. Though this isn't a problem everyone may have. I highly highly recommend this range to anyone and everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 6.3 cu. ft. front Control Slide-in Electric Range with Convection and Wi-Fi was a great addition to our kitchen — that is now complete with all Samsung appliances. Not only is the range beautiful, but it also has features I didn't know I needed. I have been testing this sleek piece of equipment for a week now and I must highlight how useful the dual ring elements are: The front burners are powerful and, because of the dual function, accommodate different sizes of pans and pots. I had no idea this functionality could be so important before, but now I realize my cookware is no longer getting burnt handles. Upon buying this range, I was looking forward to having a cooktop with five elements, so it was a pleasant surprise to discover the Warming Center feature. It is particularly useful when cooking different things at the same time to keep the food warm until everything is ready. The Wi-Fi connection is truly a fantastic feature. It is amazing to be able to preheat the oven and monitor whatever I am baking using the SmartThings app on my phone. The convection oven is another plus. It bakes everything faster, and it makes it easy to get our homemade pizza to have that nice crispy crust my family enjoys so much. The best feature for me is being able to clean it easily. I was never a big fan of the fumes self-cleaning can produce, but with the Steam Clean, I can keep it clean for longer. The front controls are indeed very sensitive and it is not hard to touch them by accident, but it’s possible to lock them, and that takes care of this minor inconvenience. Overall, my family is thrilled with this beauty, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new electric range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My NE63T8311SS Slide in Range was delivered last week! The range looks great and will have that built in look once we complete our kitchen remodel. The dual sized burners work efficiently and seem to heat to temperature quickly. I was most excited about baking since my last oven did not heat evenly resulting in cookies on one side of the pan being overdone. My first batch of cookies with this range baked perfectly..evenly browned. The touch pad control panel is very sensitive. If you reach over your range to an upper cabinet or microwave you may accidentally hit a function on. While I think it would be unlikely to actually turn anything on as you would need to hit two buttons in the right order it does start beeping. If this happens I suggest you engage the lock button. Press and hold this button for 3 seconds and the control panel locks. The range is also wifi enabled. I am not into technolgy in a big way especially while cooking so I don't see myself using the app much. My husband however downloaded the app right away. It would be convenient to be alerted when the oven is pre-heated without walking into the kitchen several times . So far I am happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this range looks amazing in my remodeled kitchen. aesthetically the range is very sleek. the bottom drawer has been smaller in order to accommodate the larger oven. the oven is huge! the cooktop has the ability to use smaller or larger burners (within the same burner) and also a warmer area. it has touch controls and you can actually lock the controls to prevent accidentally returning it on. the convection oven has cooked everything perfect so far. additionally, and one of the coolest options is it is wifi controlled as well. i can control it from my phone so i can preheat, monitor then kids cooking and even turn off the oven all from my phone. it is definitely worth the price not only on looks but also function.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Knobs in front are deadly! Too easy to turn on!

Lots of features and works great but the knobs in front are way too easy to accidentally turn on. Just bumping in to them reaching for a cabinet or moving around the kitchen we have unknowingly turned on the range multiple times. Bags or containers sitting on the range have been destroyed and there’s almost been a for multiple times. I cannot imagine this hasn’t happened to others. Someone with a toddler could not have this oven. We’re adults have almost burned down the kitchen.

waited 2 1/2 months for range to be delivered and now less than a week of having it i am looking to return it. the knobs for the burners are too sensitive. in less than a week there has been two fires. a knob has been bumped and the burner came on without anyone knowing. it was until the house was filled with smoke and flames from somethingn laid on the stove top that we realized the stove was on. i am afraid that one of my children or possibly a dog will accidentally hit it and it will cause major damage. i love the range cooking and feature wise but i don't know what i can do to prevent this from happening. model number ne63t8511sg slide in range.

Safety issues!

We began using the range two weeks ago and quickly discovered how easily the range would come on just by leaning on the control knobs. Two items caught on fire and three other times the range top was on without notice. I will be returning this range just for safety reasons.

It's okay.

Overall, we're happy with our new Samsung Range. However, When close to the control panel, it's easy to accidently touch a feature and inadvertently turn the oven on. There is no volume control for the alarm and it's quite faint. If not in close proximity, the chime is difficult to hear. No detailed Operator's Manual accompanied the Range.

I hear what you are saying and I can see where you are coming from. We did provide ways to turn off the volume, but this model does not have a way to adjust the volume. Some customers find it much easier to use the digital user manual for their products. If you ever need to glace at it, you can find it here: https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202103/20210322170025699/NE63T831_AA_DG68-01211A-04_EN-MES-CFR_210315.pdf. I, also understand you are having problems with accidentally turning on the range. To help with this, we have knob covers that should help stop this. You can find them in the link below. ^Pat https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01203557/
