I’ve never had good luck with grill covers. They’re always tear too easy and blow off in the wind. I was a little apprehensive about this but they seemed to have good reviews. So far this one is easy to get on and off, seems reasonably thick and has stayed without trouble. Time will tell how it will hold up but I’m impressed with it so far.

Fails to maintain heat. Always 50+ degrees on read out. Example, set to 225 but shows 292 on readout but thermo inside cooker says 200F.

Hey Dave, thank you for sharing your feedback. This behavior is most likely due to a dirty RTD sensor. We recommend wiping it down carefully with a warm, soapy paper towel to remove any buildup.

Smoked a Turkey for Thanksgiving along with some cream cheese. Not sure quite how to use it yet. Everything turned out good. The Turkey only took half the time the manual said it would. The App is awesome to keep an eye out for everything without checking on it and opening the lid. Still think I need more smoke though not sure how to do that yet but I will use it enough to figure it out.
