[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very easy to set up. The light is good and so is the video quality. It has been very cold, but it's holding up quite well so far. This is good for anyone who needs a little more security for their home.

I like the motion detection and the alerts that I get so I know if someone is around my house. The video quality is great and it is all weather resistant.

The Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera delivers top-notc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera – A Game-Changer in Home Security
When it comes to home security, having a reliable floodlight camera is essential. After using the Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera for a few weeks, I can confidently say it’s one of the best security devices I’ve ever tested. Here’s why it stands out:
Installation:
Right out of the box, the installation process was surprisingly straightforward. Since it’s wired, you’ll need an existing junction box for power, but the step-by-step instructions in the app made the process almost foolproof. It took me about 30 minutes to get everything up and running, and I’m no electrician! Bonus: all the tools and mounting hardware were included.
Motion Detection:
The motion detection on this camera is phenomenal. It’s not just about picking up movement—it’s smart enough to differentiate between people, animals, and vehicles. The customizable activity zones are a lifesaver, so I don’t get alerts every time the neighbor’s cat strolls by. Plus, the camera sends instant notifications to my phone, so I never miss a thing.
Video Quality:
The video quality is where the Arlo Floodlight truly shines. With 2K resolution, the footage is crystal-clear, day or night. The built-in spotlight (up to 3000 lumens!) ensures that even in complete darkness, everything is perfectly illuminated. Faces, license plates, and small details are all easy to distinguish.
Weather Resistance:
Living in an area with unpredictable weather, I needed something durable, and the Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera delivers. It’s rated IP65 for weather resistance, meaning it can handle heavy rain, snow, and even the scorching summer sun. So far, it’s performed flawlessly through all kinds of weather conditions.
App Integration:
The Arlo app is super intuitive and makes managing the camera a breeze. From adjusting the light’s brightness to reviewing recorded clips, everything is right at your fingertips. The app also integrates seamlessly with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit, making it easy to control with voice commands or pair with other smart devices in your home.
Overall Impressions:
The Arlo Wired Floodlight Camera is an all-in-one solution for home security. It combines powerful lighting, excellent video quality, and robust smart features in a sleek, weather-resistant design. While the wired setup might be a dealbreaker for some, it ensures a stable power source, so you never have to worry about charging batteries.
Pros:
• High-quality 2K video resolution
• Powerful and adjustable floodlight
• Smart motion detection with customizable zones
• Durable weatherproof design
• Excellent app with smart home integration

Great camera motion detector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation was not the easiest. I had to have my brother-in-law come and help me out as he is an electrician. The video quality is good, however, but you do need a subscription in order to use the video recording pass the free trial. The motion detection is great and could detect movement all the way from the end of my driveway.
