For the amount of money we paid for this “fan” the airflow is NOT at all sufficient. I think a regular standing fan from Target//Amazon would have provided much more cooling. I do love the very minimal noise, oscillating coverage & night mode for the display.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this a month ago and so far it’s freaking AMAZING! I have it near my laundry room where the cats liter box lives. And no one knows there’s a poo box around. Which is the whole purpose! So go buy one.

I received this about three months ago. Since using this in my apartment, the air has never been clearer. I sleep more soundly at night with less issue breathing soundly in deep sleep. I am able to clear the air more quickly after cooking, and it helps that the space feels much cooler while the fan is in use as well! It is extremely quiet, I barely notice that it is on. The app is very user friendly, I don't even require the remote it comes with to control the various settings.

The only reason we did not give it 5 stars was because the initial set-up was very frustrating. After about 20 minutes of being plugged in it suddenly started connecting to the app and responding to inputs. In retrospect, I would advise plugging it in, loading the app and connecting to WiFi and just let it sit for 30 minutes. I think the software does an update and it’s just slow.
Other than that, this purchase was to give our older Dyson purifier a break. It’s over 5 years old and still runs fine but we felt it was time to upgrade and use the old fan as back-up, if needed.
This makes a total of 3 Dyson purifiers in our house! We love them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth Dyson product. Each have been purifiers and fans, all have been exceptional, however, this one has them all beat. Quieter than any previous models, with more air circulation. I compared to my bigger BP unit and prefer the Purifier Cool PC1. Controls well with easy commands on volume and side to side movement. I have it in a large room and can feel the cool air on the far side with a low setting. I have allergies and use the filtration. In my opinion it is an essential purifier/cooler unit for all homes. I will get another.

Love the new Purifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a cool purifier fan blower which makes my room very comfortable and I can notice a difference in my breathing. My daughter’s Asthma seems to improve as well. My dead plant has starting to come alive as well even without water!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PC1's tall profile means it quietly filters a large volume of air & keeps the room cool while keeping our allergies at bay. It's super quiet-- at setting 5 between us and the TV we don't hear it! The remote control is the perfect size & the magnet means it doesn't get lost. You can see air quality on the unit's display, and the app has air quality, trend info, & also controls the filter and fan settings. Love it!
