Super Easy and Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my very first Lego set to build and omg it was worth it. I loved how the sets were bagged individually and had extra pieces for each one. The directions were somewhat easy to follow. I built this set with my 8 year old son and we had it done in about 2 hrs, we took a few breaks.

I would say this was my favorite build ever. Besides loving the subject matter, it was satisfying and I marveled at how it came together --especially the amethyst geode. Truly beautiful. I also love that it can be displayed in many different ways and placed together or separately. I wish my dad were still alive to have joined me in the build. He would have loved this since we were rock hounds and collectors when I was growing up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would call myself a LEGO novice (this is my 3rd set) but the overall build was easy. The instructions were clear to follow, and I completed the set in 2 hours, and there were no missing pieces.
As a gemologist, I was excited about the idea of having the rough gemstone Legos to display in my office. While they don’t really look like the real thing, they still make a cool decoration. The overall set is slightly smaller than I was expecting but still looks nice.

Not a challenging build, nice looking kit. Instructions are bad. Colors are hard to understand. Use the digital instructions. Took 5 years from concept to kit. Slow.
