Exceptional construction !!!!

I recently bought the z line KB 30 from the range hood store they seem to have the better price that I found package came very swiftly 2 days one of the best packing jobs I've ever seen on anything plastic supports heavy duty foam an extra thick cardboard inside also the exhaust vent and accessories were wrapped and in their own
blanket also the exhaust vent and accessories have a thick plastic peel off coating to protect them from further scratches and dents I've seen other exhaust vents that were very thin material this is heavy duty material very strong the best I've seen z-line you got a good thing going there exhaust vent and accessories arrived perfect condition no scratches no dents it comes with a plug-in already attached I was ready for installation so I hung it on the wall plugged it in the lights have two stages medium and bright I would say and the exhaust has four settings for the fan very powerful but yet even on high the sound is acceptable there will be no problem removing any type of steam or smoke out of your kitchen with this model very powerful motor more than completely satisfied with this product thanks z line keep up the good work!!!!!!!

Modern Minimal Style

I decided on the 36 In. Wall Mount Range Hood In Black Stainless Steel (Bsken-36) to go above my 30 in range (SO GLAD I GOT THE WIDER HOOD). The hood itself is perfect for the design of my clean line kitchen. It is not too showy 9as to take away from my soapstone counter) and also not your typical boring range hood. I love that the led lights have a dim option and that they are movable! Mandy with TheRangeHoodStore customer service was very patient and helpful in my quest to find a hood to fit with my soffit (only 74 inches of clearance from the ground). After much trial and error, we figured out the short kit addition would be the only way to go. That said, this model does not have matching molding and it turns out my soffit was not built square. My contractor and I will have to do some creative problem solving to hide this. Seems someone along this whole process would have considered that? Anyway, I selected a ZLINE hood due to the lifetime motor warranty. I was shipped 3 damaged or cosmetically challenged hoods.....and finally decided to keep the 3rd for a discount as I was tired of trips to fedex. There seems to be a need for better quality control and better communication with staff as to what would be necessary to install (we needed more clearance than what was mentioned). Also, I was not happy that the short kit cost me extra money and that I was not able to substitute it for the regular 16 inch chimney included. Now I have a $50 chimney section that will be unused. Seems so wasteful. The kitchen is not finished yet but I wanted to post a review because pictures of real life are so much for helpful when making decisions. Its a decent low noise level at 1, but anything above that and it would be hard to hold a conversation close to the stove. I dont mind, as the hood has a purpose to serve!

Its been almost 4 weeks since we bought this vent hood thru The Range Hood Store online. The fit & finish is beyond words, we opted to be unfinished since we were not sure what color we wanted our cabinets painted at the time we ordered the vent hood. The craftsmanship on the engraving was amazing!!! We just finished our kitchen remodel this past weekend and we couldn't be more pleased with hood. Very minimal sanding as it was pretty much ready for 1quart of primer & 1 quart of grey satin paint. Other than installing new ducting thru the attic and adding a roof vent the installation of the vent hood was pretty easy. Would highly recommend this product for any DIY project, plus save yourself some money & paint it yourself.

Quiet and Elegant, but Low-Quality Stainless Steel

The hood came packaged nicely with extra light bulbs and was very easy to install. We like how quiet the fan operates and it is nice sleek appearance. But there is a problem: the upper conical section and the duct cover section are made of very low stainless steel (SS). It is nearly impossible to clean it despite using high-quality SS cleaners. Our other SS appliances clean beautifully with the same cleaners, but not this KB-36 wall range hood!

When our house was struck by lightning and caught fire a few months ago we decided it was the perfect time to remodel our kitchen. I chose this Zline range hood because it was the only one that I could find that was aesthetically pleasing to my eye and it matches my whirlpool black stainless appliances perfectly. The fan runs so much quieter than our old hood even on speed four. Our big move in date is coming in four days so I’m very excited to finally be able to be home again and enjoy my newly modeled kitchen complete with the Zline contemporary style range hood.
