This is my 3rd Vitamix. 1st time a ld broke and it seems that you can’t get a low profile lid without buying a whole new container. If this is the case I’m done with Vitamix. What say you Vitamix? Need some direction pls

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback. We understand that the 64oz container is not for everyone, we do offer a 48oz container that also comes standard on a couple models. Because the 48oz container tapers down at the bottom it makes it possible to do a batch as small as 1 cup.

I bought this as a replacement for the original purchased with the unit 4 years ago. It fit the machine well and works great. Although neither my husband or I can cook, but we use our Vitamix at minimum 2 times a day for healthy shakes and it has held up very well.
