Unfortunate early failure, but great customer serv

I bought my third of these. But it failed. Holmes was great w/ customer service, and is sending me an upgrade replacement! I consider the failure to be an oddity (bad bearing in the blower motor?, causing noise).

Easy to fill

Had it for a few days.Love it so far. Easy lift and fill being I'm disabled.Very quiet compared to my old humidifier and love that there's no filter. Used to buy so many in one season. More cost efficient.

I used this humidifier for the first time last night. The tank leaked from the bottom, and at one point there was NO mist coming out of the unit, though I had filled it with one container of distilled water. I am very disappointed with this humidifier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love it just to fine a parts for the tank

Flapper valve fails

It is the weak link in the product. We have bought at least 6 in the past 15 years, with 2 or 3 running every night during the winter. The only thing that goes bad is the little flapper valve in the water tank, which disintegrates, making the humidifier useless. I have not been able to find a replacement part. Our water is from a well and very hard. We generally use distilled water to prevent a fine layer of calcium deposited everywhere.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Noisy !

Brand new and its so loud we can hear it from 2 rooms away. A family member has the same unit and it is totally quiet. Need this lemon replaced

30 days old and not working

I recently bought this humidifier after the warm humidifier died, I only got 30 days +/- before the ultra sonic component has failed, cleaning, descaling has not worked, last resort take it apart......wil not buy this style again.
