Powerhouse, easy to use but slow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The riviela has a shoebox-sized footprint, taking up less counter space than comparable coffeemakers. Despite coming with multiple accessories (extra bean grinding hopper, for example) and looking at first glance like it would be annoyingly complicated, it’s a breeze to set up. Plug in, follow the prompts on screen and it’s ready to go in under two minutes. Customize the size and strength of a whole menu of coffees from espresso macchiato to flat white or americano. The latte is great but the milk frothing reservoir and nozzle does an auto clean after each use which slows down the already not-speedy preparation of each drink. The regular coffee setting at medium strength was much stronger than any reasonable coffee drinker would expect so it will take some trial and error to customize our preferences. For ease of use and options it’s amazing. For the whole family to have a cup of coffee together…not so much unless you want to wait around for twelve to fifteen min while the other two people’s coffees are brewed and dispensed.

Absolutely love this espresso machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is beyond gorgeous, and that is an understatement to how this machine looks. I am so happy that they are making appliances to match kitchens better. This arctic white matches my kitchen absolutely perfectly. It blends in, and it doesn't look like an eyesore. As for the machine itself, it is such a helpful asset having the ability to make so many drink options . I'm an RN, so I depend on caffeine to get me through my shifts. Being able to choose what drink I want and to have it pretty quickly made is priceless to me. It grinds the espresso beans and makes an absolutely delicious espresso fast, and it's not noisy at all. I really appreciate the size of it . It's about half the size of my previous espresso machine yet it does about 2x more functions so I'm getting more counter space and wake me options . I would give this 10 stars if I could , worth it !

I will never live without one of these coffee make

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely obsessed with this machine! To say I am a coffee addict would be putting it very lightly, so to impress me takes a lot. It is beyond easy to use. The touch screen completely walks you through the entire setup and after that, choosing what kind of coffee delight you want to enjoy is literally as easy as selecting the photo. I will never use another machine again. I should also mention this replaced a very expensive Breville so you know I am in love. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to give my new favorite appliance a try. My days will now always begin with a heavenly treat!!

Easy to use and unlimited coffee options!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so impressed with Rivelia coffee maker by DeLonghi. My whole family loves drinking coffee and I’ve been wanting to try a coffee machine that’s capable to brew coffee, espresso and latte in the comfort of my home. Setting up Rivelia was super easy, took me less than 10 minutes. It also doesn’t take up too much counter space, it’s a pretty compact size. I was very impressed with multiple options, hot and iced coffee. The manual is very user friendly and easy to understand. I love that this coffee maker can grind my coffee beans making it so convenient and easy. With this machine you have everything you need. It’s a total game changer. I’ve also noticed that my drinks actually taste better than the ones at the coffee shop and you can’t beat convenience, I can make my own iced caramel latte any time of the day! Trust me, this machine is truly self explanatory and very easy to use. Definitely 5 stars product! Love everything about it! Design of this machine is so smart, love customization options. Easy to follow screen. Maintenance is super easy too.

The best espresso machine you’ll ever own

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing automatic espresso machine that makes a variety of drinks with fresh ground coffee beans. It delivers the smoothest, creamiest coffee drinks. It’s a smart machine that has a “bean adapt” feature which allows you to adjust the grind and extraction to create the best possible drink for the beans you’re using. It comes with 2 containers for beans which are easily swapped. There is also a dial on the milk frother allowing you to change the density of the milk froth. It feels as if the customization features are endless, and it allows you to make your perfect drink. It can be programmed to fit your preferences (including temperature and mug size) saving them under personal profiles so your next perfect cup is a click away. It was easy to open and quick to set up. The screen prompts you to do everything necessary for set up and maintenance. All the parts are easy to clean and many are dishwasher safe. My favorite part about it is that it not only brews many different espresso based drinks but also a basic cup of coffee and the best one I’ve ever had at home.

Fanciest and easiest espresso machine ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fancy espresso maker! The design of this machine on my counter top appears to be modern, minimalistic, and luxurious. I’m simple and prefer little to nothing on my counter tops so I was concerned that this would be bulky and stand out in my kitchen. It’s simple and adds a touch a class. The design is very easy to clean. I have only used the machine once and my fiancé has also used it then I wanted to attempt to clean it to see how easily it cleans. As a busy mom of small toddlers, I don’t have a lot of time for cleaning tiny little crevices so this seems to clean up super easy overall. There are a million options so you can definitely customize to your liking. From cappuccino, espresso, lattes…. You name it and this thing will make it for you! My fiancé really loves the frother addition and the fact that there’s profiles to set up based off of who is using the machine and their preference. It’s easy to switch profiles and drink options with a simple few clicks on the display (which is also fancy & easy). One of my favorite parts of the day are waking up alone before my kids get up for school and enjoying a cup of coffee in peace. This is so perfect and gives me a form of self care. I can’t wait to continue to try the various possibilities this espresso maker provides! I will love this thing for years to come.

De’Longhi Rivelia Espresso Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I truly trust the De’Longhi brand to make an amazing espresso machine. I’ve been using a Nespresso Vertuo for years, so I was very excited to test out a more-savvy espresso machine with De’Longhi’s Rivelia.
This machine is impressive, which you should expect with a product that comes with such a hefty price tag. The two bean hoppers make switching between coffee flavors or strengths a breeze, and my boyfriend and I love the user profiles so we can customize our cups to our own preferences. I absolutely love the iced coffee option! All the coffee options I’ve tried so far have been delicious. Depending on which coffee you choose, you can customize your cup to be extra strong or to be a small light cup of coffee. You can also customize the milk froth to be extra thick or a light foam. The machine thankfully isn’t too loud in the mornings to the point where you’d worry about waking others in your household.
I also really enjoy the self-cleaning functions, and that the machine alerts me when a separate deep cleaning is needed for the milk frother, for example. It will walk you through how to separate each part every time it needs to be thrown in the dishwasher. During setup, it also will have you choose your water hardness which will help it determine when to ask you to clean other functions of the machine. Since owning this a little over a month, I have not been asked by the machine to clean or descale it, but will be prepared for it based on the hardness level I elected upon setup.
A few things that do bother me about this machine, but may not bother you: 1. As mentioned above, I was impressed with the water hardness aspect, as it will allow the machine to gauge when to clean; however, to elect the water hardness during setup, the machine asks that you use an “included” water test strip. I do trust that this strip is usually included with the machine. But, after searching the Accessories box high and low about 5 times, I could not find the test strip in my package. I wonder if it was just missing from some Influenster boxes on accident? I had to call De’Longhi customer care, and while they were helpful in choosing my water hardness based on whether or not I can drink my tap water, I would’ve liked to get a more accurate read based on the included strip that the instructions tell the owner to use. The service rep was great, but the only other solution they offered was to go to Home Depot and purchase my own strips. 2. I don’t love the fact that to warm up upon powering on, the machine ejects some water. There have been some mornings where I cannot function correctly until I have caffeine, so I forget to put a glass underneath the spout and water goes into the bottom tray. Water also dispenses when the machine powers off. It’s an easy clean-up, but this can be annoying if you forget or do not store a glass under the spout when the machine isn’t in use for the next time you go to make your coffee. I also feel this looks a bit more cluttered for my kitchen countertop preferences, as the machine already takes up quite a bit of my countertop real-estate.
Overall, I absolutely love this machine. If you can afford the price tag and are looking for one of the best cups of coffee you can make at home, this is definitely the top pick. The Rivelia looks beautiful in my kitchen, brews like a charm from the start of bean grinding to the finish of piping hot (or iced!) coffee in your mug, has smart cleanup settings, and has allowed me to be my own barista. The cons are somewhat minimal, and I have luckily found my work-arounds over the past 6-8 weeks for both the water testing and the water dispensing during warm-up and cool-down. All in all, I give the Rivelia 4 out of 5 stars and look forward to trying out all the coffee settings!

Best coffee maker out there

I love the feature of selecting your type of coffee, the automatic self-cleaning, and the customization of your unique coffee profile. Not to mention it is beautiful to look at and looks so nice in my coffee area at home. It makes a very good cup of coffee however you like it and remembers what you made for next time if you choose for it to. I could not recommend this expresso machine enough. Easily the best coffee maker I have ever owned.
