[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The De'Longhi Rivelia coffee maker is a next level experience for coffee lovers. My house smells like a coffee shop while the machine is brewing. It has 4 user profiles and is very easy to switch between the profiles, with each having their own color light up on the machine top to verify it's the correct user. It comes with 2 hoppers, so I can switch out my preferred coffee with my husband's preferred coffee easily. Cleaning the machine itself is very easy, as it does much of it itself, and the bottom slides out to reveal the grounds. There's a hidden storage area on the top with a steam valve and brush. Using the machine is very easy in and of itself, the full color display is wonderfully enthusiastic with its animations and salutations. The customization is intense, with the ability to select the size of the cup, intensity of the extraction, and even how much foam to add (the "my" feature allows you to stop if you prefer less foam ratio with the coffee selection, which it will remember). You can save settings even down to the time of day you prefer each style of coffee. Some notable things to consider that make it less than 5*. The foam dispenser does not clean the entire container, just the spout. However I noticed after cleaning that the next coffee to use foam had water at the beginning, meaning it's not fully discharging it. If you wait awhile between foam uses, I would not love the idea of water trapped in the valve being put in my coffee. A day between uses wasn't enough to dry the interior chamber. It's always possible that the machine is sending fresh water through it ahead of the foam, but why, if it's already clean would that be necessary. The second thing is that the height of the coffee spout doesn't lift high enough for my travel mug. It has a travel mug size indicator on the screen, but I have not yet figured out a way to physically do it yet due to the base drip tray that has the used grounds container integrated. Finally, the coffee comes out at a drinkable temperature. I know this will be personal preference but I'm used to hot coffee. If I leave it for 20 minutes, it's still hot. This is borderline warm, so it needs immediate consumption or a coffee warmer tray to sit on. Just a quirk I was not prepared for and found different, as my on the go routine in the morning differs so I need to adjust this into it. It's also not going to get water hot enough for black tea steeping either. The drip tray definitely needs to not be moved, as it self-cleans before shutting itself off and drips water (about 20 minutes after the last activity). It also does this during warm up, so beware if you place your cup there when you first wake it up. So overall it's a really strong contender for an at home all-in-one beans to cup option, but with some cleaning quirks that take getting used to.

Very easy to select which option for drink you want and really like how your profile saves so that you don’t have to put in the selections every time for the drinks you make often. The white color is beautiful.

Brilliant at-home barista experience with the DeLo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DeLonghi Rivelia delivers barista quality espresso and lattes easily with minimal maintenance thanks to its smart design and intelligent interface.
The Rivelia won me over with its clever routine and user features, where, like a friendly neighborhood barista, it remembers both my partner's and my drink preferences and the time of day we like to have them. The espressos, Americanos, and lattes it makes are excellent, with no bitterness even from less expensive coffee beans. Making a drink is as simple as swiping and clicking the drink you want, with the only manual step being using the latte attachment for milk, if needed. One of my favorite features is that the espresso spout is adjustable in height, so I can now fit both my travel mug and a DeLonghi espresso shot glass without spilling or fussing with set-ups for either.
More compact than our previous manual espresso machine, the Rivelia is much easier to clean and maintain. It provides helpful reminders and visual guidance on refilling the water tank, emptying grounds and the water reservoir, and comes with two coffee bean containers that are easily swapped to let household members brew their preferred beans.
I'm also a tea drinker and was delighted to find that Rivelia brews an excellent cup of tea, thanks to its built-in water filter and hot water spout. As a result, it has unexpectedly replaced my tea kettle as well as our previous espresso machine.
Overall, I'm delighted with the DeLonghi Rivelia and would recommend it for any household with multiple coffee and tea drinkers or anyone who likes different types of warm beverages throughout the day.
