I received my speaker about a month ago. This speaker has a really nice look. This is not the speaker you take to the pool, instead it complements you desk at the office or any room in your home. It has a nice rugged aluminum frame surrounding a fabric case. This speaker can be paired with a second speaker for full stereo sound. Oh, the sound -- Boom!! this speaker can fill a room!

This little speaker is such a godsend for my small space. I’ve only had it about a month, but I use an older generation sound link in my bathroom when getting ready (since it’s a little more weather tested) and was so excited about this version. It’s an aesthetic upgrade to have displayed in my room over my purple one, and I’m not a professional ear by any means, but I do think it sounds a little crisper? Like if I crank the volume up (sorry neighbors) I can hear a lot of the underlying music and bass clearer than my other sound link. And it does a good job for this size at filling the whole room with sound. I think this is best if you’re looking for something to connect to a phone, tablet, maybe even a computer for music and maybe to boost a movie, but I don’t know if it necessarily would compete in quality with items designed specifically for that (sound bar, plug in speakers, etc). Still a good little investment if you’re in an apartment!

Small but mighty!!!

The SoundLink home speaker is amazing. The sound comes out clear, the bass is kicking, and the room is grooving. I’ve used this speaker in my house, in a warehouse (at work), and outside in the yard. The sound never changed and would always fill the space. I liked the function (if you have 2 SoundLink Home speakers) of stereo mode. You don’t have to have the Bose connect app, instead link the two speakers with the Bluetooth and volume button after connecting 1 speaker to the blue took device. It didn’t matter if I had my phone, my wife’s phone, or a friends phone, just connect to the device and play the music. Not need having to have someone else download the app.

Great new looking speaker

This is great looking speaker goes very nicely with home decor. Has a new age look. The sound is really crisp and clean even outdoors.
They down fall I see is the cloth front and back may get dirty especially if toddlers get their hands on it or a lot of outdoor use especially when bbqing. Having the cloth could cause alot of higenic issues.

Easy setup, great sound and solidly built

This is another great speaker from Bose, and I love the form factor and how solidly built it is. It's sharply designed and blends well on my nightstand and pumps out great sound for such a small speaker. Setup was super easy and I was listening to music in less than a minute. So far I've used it for podcasts, audiobooks and evening jazz, and it's sounded great for each moment with clear voices and enough bass when needed.
In fact, the only small knock I have on the speaker is that it didn't include a power block in the packaging, so I had to go hunt for one. It requires a USB-A block to plug into (not the newer USB-C), so I really had go searching around my house. Most power blocks we have nowadays are USB-C, so it's a headscratcher on why Bose didn't go that route. But to be fair, I forgot all about the power block when the music came booming out the speaker, and I was blown away by the sound. I really look forward to enjoying this beautiful, little speaker for years to come!
