I already had a cam pan3 PTZ camera mounted under the eave on one corner of my house and had needed to retrofit the mounting to a single screw similar to what would be used to mount a swag light (one end are wood threads to screw under the eave and the other end has machine screw to screw into the bottom of the camera. I needed to do this to lower the camera below the soffit trim otherwise I'd be viewing the inside of the trim. Works perfectly for my purposes as it keeps the camera protected under the eve and I can pan the camera to my viewing area. This stool campaign is even better because now I can have a fixed view of say the front door and use the other camera to track objects in motion in my detection zone. I love Wyze products for their creative problem solving functionality and versatility!
Haven't used them yet. Waiting for the new universal adaptor for outdoor installation to become available. Supposed to be sometime this month. I'm sure I'll be able to bump this rating up to a 5. I am using Pan 3 cameras currently and they are a 5.
Love my Wyze Cam Dual. I have my cam on my 3rd floor balcony over seeing our lovely sky, and the swivel can watches my humming Bird feeder. Love Wyze's Time-lapse option.
This camera was exactly what I needed. It works well. I have had only one issue and it’s a programming issue. It’s not an issue with the cameras. The small issue is I set a schedule for it to turn on the motion warning. It refuses to work so I have to do it manually. That is my only complaint and it is super minor. The camera is so nice because it keeps a focus on my driveway and then I can use the one that moves to follow my dog as they wander near the perimeter fence. It’s exactly what I wanted. And before I forget to mention it, the image quality is fantastic.
