I bought this for my neighbor I have five of them myself. It was very confusing for them to set it up because of the cam plus push. It did not tell them how to set it up without buying CAM+. That is a shame
It was hard to connect and was a problem older model was better

Hi there, we are very sorry to hear you are experiencing some connectivity trouble and would like to help. The max range between the camera and Base Station varies, but in an open, clear field, they can be up to 300 feet apart. If you have multiple walls, doors, and other structures between each device, then that optimal range will be smaller. We would recommend taking a look at this article for some tips:

The new cameras work fine. I'm still having a problem with video at one location, but since this is the reason a purchased a new camera to replace the old one, and the problem still exists, it must be my wifi signal is not strong enough for that camera location.
This new version is superior to an already great camera that I have. I own four of the previous version, and I'm very happy with them. The new ones even better.
