mouse scroller stopped working

I was enjoying this keyboard/mouse combo but the mouse scrolling wheel, which I use a lot, stopped working within about a week or so of getting the product. Unfortunately the return process requires some work, and I'm not able to just exchange the mouse for a working mouse so the whole purchase has cost time and inconvenience more than anything else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not compatible with my PC

I needed an insert for wireless because my PC has a password and these did not let me open it. For someone with no password protection this would be great.
