Jury's Out

So far so good. Our gen 1 kettle lasted only about one year so I'm hesitant to leave a review.

Quick and quiet boiling of water but instructions not detailed enough for more advanced features
on September 4, 2025

I was impressed how fast and quietly the water boils. I like the "petite" size given we are only a 2 person household and there is also minimal space on our kitchen counter. I'd give it a 5-star if the instructions were more clear and detailed about how to "hold" the water at a certain temperature. I have 3 educational degrees but I still couldn't figure it out after reading the instructional pamphlet lol

I love the look of

I love the look of it, but it feels thin. After it reaches temperature, and you pour the water for one cup and put it back. It drops temperature by about 8° almost immediately. If you forget to shut it off and put it back on the base with no water in it it will continue for quite a long time before it realizes there’s no water and continually clicks, the clicks might be a good thing because then it will make you aware that there is no water in the pot. The lid does not stay on very tightly so when you tilt to pour water it falls out.
Lastly, the automatic shut off only works at the pot is on the base. If you decide to rinse the pot and let it sit upside down on a drain board to dry and forget to shut off the base, it will stay on all day long.

Not worth the money

- Doesn’t hold very much water (2 small coffee cups)
- takes a while to boil
- my stove top kettle is faster to boil
Over all I’m not really impressed. Especially for how expensive it is.

The kettle is very cool

The kettle is very cool looking. However, even when filled to the max line the kettle sputters and boils over.
I wrote customer care with my concern, was asked to send photos, serial and order numbers etc. which I did right away. It's now been one week since I wrote and have heard nothing back.

Almost perfect…

For tea snobs… I mean connoisseurs… such as I aspire to become, the Corvo is the perfect engine to run that show. It definitely takes the guesswork out of temperature.
For future incarnations, with even more convenience to the user, I would suggest/request having a timer one can set that counts down and beeps, rather than the current stopwatch that silently counts up from “0:00.” It’s easy to forget about and go over the target brew time if one is multi-tasking. Consequently, I end up using the timer with alarm on my phone.

Highly recommend for tea!

Verified Purchase:Yes
The best thing for a quick cup of afternoon tea! Easy to use and quickly heats to the correct temperature for green, black and herbal teas. I was a little reluctant to purchase initially because of the price but so far it has been completely worth it! I’m impressed with how much better even my supermarket tea is! (I was just running hot water from my Keurig before it died). It is also nice looking and has a small footprint in the kitchen (wish I had spent slightly more money for the walnut handled pot). It pours easily with no splashing and produces less steam than expected (I am very careful with it and follow all of the safety directions because it does get hot).
Highly recommend and I think it would also make a great gift.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful but improvable
on January 26, 2025

This kettle is beautiful (no need to keep it in the cupboard like my other appliances) and the wooden handle is smooth and perfect. It pours without splashing or spilling. It heats quickly and is pretty easy to set the temperature with the knob. I do think the design of pressing the button for on, off, and timer is unnecessarily tricky and a separate timer would be more efficient. Also I bought it knowing it has a count up timer, instead of a way to let you know when the desired time is done… and it’s still not a super helpful feature. Maybe a count up works well for a pour over set up with the gooseneck kettle, but this one is for tea and French press, and a countdown timer (with a buzz or other indicator that it’s ready) would be much more user friendly. So yes it’s a fantastic heater and pourer of water and I love the look and feel, but the timer should be more helpful to be a selling point.
I would recommend this to a friend!
