Great kettle, but say and auto turn on and off. The only con is I’d like to see a larger kettle that holds more water.

We opted to replace our Stagg kettle with the Corvo because we no longer needed a gooseneck kettle for pour overs. We now consume more loose leaf tea than anything else. We appreciate the temperature control, hold, and alarm heat features. The Corvo is at the intersection of good form and function and has quickly become one of our most prized possessions.

Performs Well, Pricey

I bought this kettle specifically because I wanted something non-toxic. I appreciate this brands' transparency on the materials it is made out of. The performance is good and it heats up fast. I knocked off a star because it is quite expensive and I am not sure if the bang is worth the buck. Also, within one use I already have mineral spots in the interior. I know this is more of a "me problem" with my water, however I can already tell this is going to be a continuous upkeep tasks. I went with the Corvo over the Stagg because it was easier to clean than the long spout (which I am glad I did after seeing how much mineral deposits I get).

A Joy to Use

I have been sampling a variety of pu’erh teas this year. Different varieties have different requirements for water temperature and brewing. My previous kettle just had a few preset temperatures available. I decided to upgrade my kettle and chose to purchase an EKG Pro. The ability to dial in the exact temperature recommended for brewing has been a key to consistently getting the best results from different teas. The kettle is very easy to set up and is intuitive to use. It was an easy choice, the EKG kettles are universally recognized as among the best available. They are expensive but I have gotten noticeably better results using this equipment, I can highly recommend it if you want to get the best results.

Great kettle long winded review

Corvo EKG is very nice for tea with good flow rate and can be used for pour over in a pinch. The lid is very satisfying to remove when adding more water. The only disappointment I had was that they removed the physical toggle on the back for C/F, but the feature is still there! It’s all tucked away now under menu you can access with the temperature dial. I appreciated the tone to let you know the water is done boiling (although the tone is a bit unpleasant). I ended up buying this along with the stagg pro so I have both a coffee and tea kettle and only a single base since they can share!
It’s included in the care card but the wood handle will require some minor care from time to time to make sure the wood parts don’t dry out

The EKG Kettle exceeds all of our expectations. It heats quickly and quietly, it is easy to set a specific temperature, and it looks great too!
