Great flexibility, I heat filtered

Great flexibility, I heat filtered water for pour over coffee in the morning, and lower the temperature for green tea later in the day, then use higher temp for herbal tea in the evening. Nicely designed to look good out on the counter all day.

Couple of things shy of perfect

Good looking, handles and pours well, small capacity, initially heats quickly but shuts down prior to achieving set temperature, so it takes a long time to get to a full boil. Frustrating that you can't set a timer without the kettle heating element being on (tip - just leave the kettle off the base after you start tea brewing).

Electrical Cord needs better protection

Love this product.
However, disappointed in the quality of protection the electrical cord has. It started to melt. Very quickly as it touched the back of a toaster over ….we have owned other products and kettles and this has never happened before.

This is our third Fellow

This is our third Fellow kettle (we've had both Corvo and Stagg). This is a replacement for one that the heating element went out on. Nick and the Fellow crew were very helpful with getting a replacement sent out to us. Would do five stars for service, but said 4 because we've had to replace the kettle twice due to this heating element issue (over the span of several years). Generally we really like this kettle.
