Rust, poor quality

I’ve had this kettle for about six months now. Despite my efforts to take good care of the kettle, there is paint chipping near the lid and rust inside the kettle which can’t be safe to drink. There is also no auto off when no water is detected as advertised. While I like the design and temperature accuracy of the kettle, it does not hold up over time and not worth the money in my opinion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great kettle long winded review

Corvo EKG is very nice for tea with good flow rate and can be used for pour over in a pinch. The lid is very satisfying to remove when adding more water. The only disappointment I had was that they removed the physical toggle on the back for C/F, but the feature is still there! It’s all tucked away now under menu you can access with the temperature dial. I appreciated the tone to let you know the water is done boiling (although the tone is a bit unpleasant). I ended up buying this along with the stagg pro so I have both a coffee and tea kettle and only a single base since they can share!
It’s included in the care card but the wood handle will require some minor care from time to time to make sure the wood parts don’t dry out
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful and high quality - want simple directions!

We just opened this and it's beautiful and very high quality. I feel like I could really use some simple directions like: A) how to turn on. B) how to turn off C) how to stop "hold" D) easy tips on best temp for coffee, tea, oatmeal etc.
It's almost too sophisticated for me. But we do love it!

2 suggestions to make a great product even better

These kettles are wonderful looking, w a handle w great tactile feel that’s a joy, clean pouring, w a well thought out user interface. I’d make two suggestions: a temp setting dial that is speed sensitive, so faster turns cause faster changes, and slow turns allow precision settings to a particular temp. Right now, it can take too many turns to go from 170 degrees to t212. Second, a larger capacity so I can heat water for more than two cups of tea. One last feature that’s great: it’s quiet when heating. Other kettles sound like a jet taking off; this one is nice and quiet! Very nice!

Just arrived two weeks ago it’s just the right size and everything about it works nicely. I do wish it had an automatic shut off because sometimes I forget things that are on so I have to be causing it or remembering to turn it off, but I love it.

Good product, but not finished well.

Great kettle with very pleasing aesthetic.
Maple handle and stopper should be treated. Paying for a kettle of this quality should include a fully finished product.
It's well made however I did not know that there was "no beep" when it gets to your desired temp (it's silent.) In order to get the specific temp that you want there has to be a certain amount of water in it... No less than 2". It's high maintenance but looks great. If you must have a beep and auto shut off then this is not for you.
