⭐ Galaxy S25 Edge — Review
on September 19, 2025
Posted by: Mansa1
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From first glance, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge strikes with one defining feature: extreme thinness. At just 5.8 mm, it’s Samsung’s sleekest flagship yet — almost delicate in its featherweight build, yet still packing many of the flagship trimmings. But like any design that chases slimness, there are trade-offs. This review walks through what you’ll love, what you might tolerate, and whether it’s worth your money.
Design & Display
The Edge is a marvel in design engineering. It weighs only 163 g, barely more than the base S25, yet houses a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Build quality is premium: a titanium frame, Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 up front, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back. IP68 for dust and water resistance caps it off.
Colours are tasteful: Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, Titanium Icyblue. Options are fewer than some Samsung models, but each is elegant.
Cameras
The main camera is a 200MP wide lens (f/1.7) paired with a 12MP ultra-wide. That massive sensor promises fantastic detail and flexibility, especially when cropping or using Galaxy AI-powered enhancements.
Selfies and video calls benefit from the 12MP front camera, which also integrates Galaxy AI editing tools like Generative Edit, AI Object Eraser, and smart portrait refinements.
Video recording supports up to 8K, further enhanced by AI-based stabilization and scene optimization.
A downside: there’s no dedicated telephoto lens. Zooming relies on cropping, where AI-assiste

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent phone. It is lightweight, and slim and the battery charge holds up very well. Very pleased with the S25 Edge.

Huge disappointment
on September 18, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a personal user of the new Samsung S25 Edge, I'm genuinely disappointed. This feels less like a step forward and more like a significant downgrade from my previous phone, the S22. I don't feel like I've bought a new phone at all.
For me, the most glaring and frustrating issue is the camera system. The S22 had a dedicated telephoto lens, which was a feature I used constantly. To my great dismay, the S25 Edge has completely abandoned this, opting for a dual-camera setup with just a wide and ultrawide lens. While Samsung claims the 200MP main sensor can achieve a "2x optical quality zoom" through cropping, it's just not the same. It’s a huge letdown and a major loss of functionality for anyone who values true optical zoom. The result is that I'm taking photos that feel less versatile and of a lower quality at a distance than I was with a phone that came out years ago.
And frankly, the obsession with making a phone as thin as possible is completely lost on me. How thin it is doesn't matter when it comes at the cost of essential features. The "engineering marvel" of its slim design means little when the core experience feels compromised. It's a shiny, sleek device that has stripped away the very things that made me a loyal Samsung customer. This phone is a massive disappointment. Galaxy AI

Phone euphoria
on September 18, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy S25 edge has helped me stay connected and on task at work. I'm currently a student as well and it's features really help during group projects which I otherwise may struggle to find time for. The Galaxy AI is unlike anything I've ever experienced. So far I've been very impressed. It really makes a difference when you find a product that you can depend on, that really makes a difference in your life. A product that makes day to day tasks easier. I look forward to seeing what comes next. Thanks!

I love my S25 Edge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The feature i love the most is the camera. It's so easy to zoom in or out. You can even zoom while making a video. The AI is a work in progress on my part lol. I'm old and set in my ways. That coupled with some fears that I hear people talk about has me dragging my feet. I am warming up to AI slowly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy AI is so helpful in so many ways, especially when I'm writing my important emails. I thought it was my Case Worker who was suppose to be helping me in these situations but Galaxy AI gets me the information that I need right away.
