[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the design is simple which i like and it works the way it should, my only real complaint is that the water tank hole is very small which can be difficult when you’re filling it with distilled water from a big bottle. and the rubber stopper doesn’t really fit properly. but otherwise it’s good so far.

Great compact steamer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, so I’m picking with my steamers and have a few at home of all different brands but I somehow always come back to conair for there steamers and this one was no exception. It is great for someone looking for a compact size or something to do a quick job. Since it is smaller you do need to refill the water depending on the garment but others I was able to steam my outfit with no problem without refilling. Would be great for travelling as well. Would definitely recommend.

It generates a good amount of steam in a reasonable amount of time, is easy to load and use, lasts about 2 shirts a fill, and no leaks. I'm surprised this is considered "compact" as it's not small by any means, but offers a good grip. It's also not too heavy so you can hold it up for a while.

Great Fabric Steamer for Smaller Jobs!

The Conair Compact Fabric Steamer pleasantly surprised me by how well it functions. The water compartment is easy to fill, and the rubber stopper isn't affixed to the tank itself, which will prevent me from accidentally tearing it off with use. After plugging it in, the fabric steamer was ready for use in under 30 seconds, as stated in the instruction manual, and it was primed and steaming in no time. I love that the button doesn't have to be held down during use, and the steam turned off again quickly with a second press.
It didn't take too many passes to steam out the wrinkles in my pencil skirt, and I am happy with the results shown in the last photo (there is still light ruching on the skirt, but that is by design.) It took a bit less than 2 minutes, for the front side, and there was still some water left in the tank to start on the back.
There were a few instances when the fabric steamer spat water onto the fabric, which isn't that much of a concern for what I will use it for. I do wish it was designed to have a slightly larger tank while still being portable, as some items will take multiple refills.
All in all, I do see this replacing my full sized fabric steamer for smaller jobs and on trips!

CONVENIENT!
