Totally worth the cost and makes taking care of the litter robot that much easier! My 13 year old installed it, so it's easy to do. It's easy to fill and sends good notices when it needs a refill. Very happy with this purchase.

Litter hopper doesn’t work!

I’ve had the hopper for about 2 weeks now and it has not once dispensed any liter !? I’ve taken it apart and put it together again , cleaned the unit.. still nothing !?

It is very glitchy. It stops working fairly frequently and is difficult to troubleshoot. It seems that even after carefully following all the troubleshooting it gives me an error message. It doesn’t work for me anymore currently

Good idea, if it worked properly

I had really high hopes for this addition to my lr4 but I can't say I'm completely happy about my purchase. WHEN the hopper works, it's good. Not great. It took longer than it needed to getting it actually setup correctly despite using the provided instructions. Once that entire process was over, it worked for a week without issues. The unit waste a huge amount of clean litter due to it thinking the optimal level is lower than it is, I assume. I've done the recalibration of litter level, clean the sensors more than anyone needs to and calibrated the waste drawer(for whatever reason that's the solution I was given on reddit by an lr agent. To give perspective. I can empty the waste drawer, fill the hopper and the next day my app is telling me the bin is full. Sure enough a few clumps and am entire bin of litter it's sitting there for me. Hopefully one day it works like o had hoped.

Excellent Concept, Failure in Execution

Great idea but a beast to get functional. I purchased two hoppers for both my litter-bots, but no matter how I install them they don’t work. Flashing lights never stop and litter falls out of the hopper and wasted. I’ve now attempted to install both multiple times to no avail. Too hard to follow directions to a “T” and extremely dissatisfied.

Love this thing. After buying one to try it out; all four of my LR4s are now equipped with it. Reliable, time saving and convenient. Easy to install. Very easy to maintain
