A must have for your litter box!

I LOVE this product! No more constantly monitoring the litter box to make sure it has the right amount of litter. This device takes care of everything for me, making life so much easier. ????

Happy with it, fit and finish a little lacking

Overall this unit is great, the install was really simple and it works flawless. Only a few small complaints, one is that I had a hard time getting the hopper to initially connect, it gave no faults just flashed blue and purple. After following all troubleshooting steps I finally just left it unplugged for a half hour and it connected no problem. Other complaint is the lid doesn't fit as seamlessly as the original and it seems flimsier. Two minor inconveniences for a great unit is acceptable in my book

Loved it but then my robot malfunctioned

Got the litter hopper on a whim and after a trickier more in depth installation than I thought, I was impressed with it. Everything was smooth sailing until I kept getting over torque faults saying the globe was overloaded with litter however it looked fine. My litter robot gave me no issues for over 2 years and then after this is installed it’s not working. I bought a replacement motor that’s on the way but we’ll see. I want to like it but hard to say it didn’t cause the downfall of my robot. Wish I didn’t get it and mess with my machine

So Far....it's great

My wife and I are a bit past our "golden years" and struggle sometimes to do chores that once were merely annoyances. The Litter Robot has, actually, enabled us to keep our beloved cat......and that in turn greatly improves our quality of life. After using the original device for about 6 months, we bought the hood, and it eliminated the only chore still remaining. This thing is WONDERFUL. It was a small challenge for us to install ourselves, but the instructions were clear and by taking it slowly and thoughtfully everything worked fine. We love it, after about a month of flawless operation of the hood.

I like the addition and it works fine but it would be vastly more useful if it was bigger. It does not hold litter for very long before it's empty.

Making my life easier

This accessory is definitely a luxury, but it's nice to have one less thing to worry about.
Pros: Very easy to install. Paired with the app instantly. Set and forget (for a few days).
Cons: While dispensing, the motor is somehow louder than the LR4 when it cycles. A half teaspoon of litter escapes when removing an empty hopper for refill. After refilling, slight delay from the app in detecting it has been refilled.
It just does what you'd expect it to do, and well enough to make it worth it for me. I am currently being treated for cancer and this makes my frazzled life a little bit easier to manage.

Neat, but not significant

Easy to install, works as it should, but doesn’t really add a significant enough capacity (at least with two cats) to be a must-have.
I do also wish it kept the litter topped off a little higher than it does, but not a big deal.
