Needs a bit of work

Easy setup. The only issue is that it doesn’t dispense enough litter to the globe which causes lumps of litter to stick to the globe.

I really wanted to love this hopper as much as I love my litter robot, BUT it was very difficult to put on and it does not work very well. My litter is constantly below the line. Not worth the money.

Great purchase!

After almost 2 months with the Litter-Robot 4 and the Litter Hopper, I love it! The Hopper effortlessly keeps the litter at the perfect level, eliminating the hassle of manual refills. The constant supply of fresh litter means the bowl stays cleaner, and there's no more worrying about missed top-offs like with my old Litter-Robot 3. If you want to streamline your litter box maintenance, the Litter Hopper is a must-have for Litter-Robot 4 owners!
Other thoughts:
- It took a little bit of time to get the "cover" to fit the same way that the original cover fit, and have everything click perfectly in place.
- I had an unexpected ~1cm clump of clay litter from a litter bag I purchased, and the hopper was smart enough to tell me the dispenser was clogged! Very thoughtful programming by Whisker's engineering team!
Other thoughts:

Adds even more convenience

Before adding the litter hopper to our LR4, I had to manually add litter when I noticed the litter level was low.
With the hopper, the level in the LR4 is always “optimal” as shown in the app. I just add litter once a week when I clean the box.

Absolutely love my litter robot and the addition of the litter hopper is pure genius. It lets me know it’s low just top it off and it keeps the litter at optimal level. Whoever came up with this deserves a raise.

I was please at how easy it was to set up on my litter robot 4, the dispensing is great and it shows me the times it has to dispense litter. My 2 cat's love their litter box and so do I! Highly recommended it!

Easy install, minimal control

Install was fairly straightforward, completed in 15 minutes or so. Once installed, it detected the Hopper fairly quickly and dispensed a test batch of litter to confirm function, but did not dispense the first routine bit of litter for a few days. This was despite cat usage and manual cycling, it left us wondering if it really was working properly. It would be nice if there was a feature to manually have it dispense litter on demand. Seems to be working as advertised now that it has properly engaged.
