Annoying set up

Works great but the setup process was not user friendly. It's unclear why there is a plug you have to remove from the sphere or why the original bonnet was not designed to allow the hopper to be installed onto it as now the original bonnet is a giant plastic piece of waste now.

Doesn't connect well, constant errors

I literally have to connect it wrong because it doesn't maintain a solid connection and gives a motor error fault. I would have spent less effort just occasionally filling up litter then constantly adjusting it to make it work.

Litter Hopper

Litter hopper is well worth the money. No need to continuously fill the Litter Robot. Just fill the hopper and it keeps the level perfect. I check the hopper once a week and fill however it is also monitored on the app if you just want the app to notify you to fill.

Works great once calibrated

I have to Litter Hoppers. I did need to calibrate both before they work correctly.
Once that was done, they've been flawless.
I do question why the lid is so thick? It seems over engineered and actually uses up some space that could be used for another couple of cups of litter.

I think its ok and will work for long trips I have planned. What I dont like is it drops the new litter in the spot where the sifter screen is the smallest. I have seen when it cycles that it dumps the new litter in the poop tray. I dont see this being an every day solution as it doesnt really mix with the old litter but its a good remedy from time to time when traveling so my cat sitter can do the least amount of work as possible
