Great add on to get

I recently bought the litter hopper add on after seeing someone's review. They thought it was a nice upgrade. I agree it automatically adds litter when needed while cycling your litter. Check you litter when you take the bag out and this makes it an even better experience. I will be buying a second unit soon since I have multiple cats. I recommend to anyone with cats.

Would not work

After putting it together the globe would not cycle correctly. Had others helping me and still couldn't get it to work. I ended up returning it.

I absolutely love the litter hopper. I just got our first Litter Robot 4 right before Christmas to replace one of our regular litter boxes and absolutely love it! And now with the litter hopper it’s even better. I will be replacing another regular litter box with another Litter Robot 4 with litter hopper as soon as I can. It’s a game changer for multiple cat households!

Honestly did not think the Litter-Robot could get better, but with this dispenser it is. Now with our 3 cats it's pretty much hands-off until we have to empty the waste. Which we do about once a week.

Trouble shooting

I had some trouble getting this to work initially. I finally got to a trouble shooting place that showed me how to reset and recalibrate. It has worked so far after. Hopefully it continues to.

Worth it

The addition of the hopper makes an already great product even better! It’s an investment but so worth it. I no longer have to be concerned about checking to add litter. As long as I fill the hopper periodically it’s taken care of. Love this product!

I wasn't sure if this extra part was necessary, but I splurged and bought it.
I cant imagine having to look at my litter robot more than once a week to add litter.
I only have to change the bag and add litter once a week with 3 cats. It was so worth it.
