So Far So Good!

Been using the litter hopper for an about 3 weeks. Installed easily after watching a video. I use heavy clay litter and the hopper keeps it well under the fill line so the motor doesn’t blow up. No complaints yet.

Disappointed with Performance and Reliability Issues

I really wanted to like the LitterHopper but my experience hasn't been poor. The product seems to suffer from alignment and sensor problems that make regular use frustrating. I have had it for over 1 month and tried to make it work over 100 times, and to date it has only worked like 2-3 times. It’s a great idea in theory, but in practice, it just hasn’t worked. I would not recommend anyone but this.

Used to have 3 cats... now down to one. Had the first Litter Robot. Switched to the Furbulous when the Litter Robot finally died. The cats hated the newer box because of the smaller entry point. Ditched it and went back to the LR4 with the hopper. A cat box that nearing a grand is hard to swallow, but it works and makes our lives so much easier. You wouldn't even know we have cats in the house. This model is super quiet and with the hopper, all I have to do is dump the bag at the end of the week. If you can afford it... do it. I feel that way about all our pets and pet maintenance. More love and less regret. :)
