It’s pretty handy to have, however for the price you pay for the litter robot I feel like this should have been included. It lasts about a week for two cats, I would call it a must have!

The addition of the Litter-Hopper is a brilliant example of incorporating new products to help pet owners. It’s quite convenient not to have to worry about refilling litter when you are away from your home for quite a few days. And the fact that this must’ve been on the back burner since the inception of Litter-Robot 4 (maybe even the Litter-Robot 3) shows that the Litter-Robot family of products will continue to expand to ease the life of a pet parent.

Very happy with the Litter Hopper

We looked at the Litter Hopper for our Litter Robot 4 for piece of mind that the litter level would always be correct. Since we installed the hopper, we are so pleased with how it works. We could not be happier!!

Works just like advertised. It keeps the litter full and clean. With my two cats, I only have to refill it every 2 bin changes, or about every 2-3 weeks.

We have 3 cats that like to share the same robot, which constantly drained the clean litter. This has been a big help and gives us more time between fillings.

I bought 2 hoppers thinking this would make adding litter much easier. Unfortunately it doesn’t work well. About 98% of the time, the litter is an inch to an inch and a half below the line. I make sure the hopper has litter, but it doesn’t fill the globe appropriately. I’m aware the litter I use is considered heavy so I need to be about a half an inch below the line. However, if there isn’t enough litter the urine turns it into a thick mud. This keeps happening and then the hopper won’t distribute anything because of the weight. I’ve come home multiple times and I have to put gloves on and clean the “mud” off the globe because it’s one big clump. I absolutely love my robots, I just wish the hopper worked better. I had high hopes.
