The hopper was easy to install and works well. There is a status message on the app which will let you know when it dispenses litter. It’s nice to be able to leave it for a few days and not worry the litter is low in the unit.

Incredible new addition to the litter robot 4! Ours is very finicky when it came to adding the proper amount of litter and this definitely has helped! Definitely worth it!

Helpful addition to Litter Robot 4

Added this update to the LR 4 two weeks ago. Straightforward instructions and easy assembly. The new litter reservoir contains enough to keep two cats supplied for 8 days before refilling. No need for daily checks of litter levels to top up. Litter level is stable and ideal. Great option that simplifies using the robot and keeping my cats happy!

Don’t buy the litter hopper

The litter hopper is not a great addition. It leaks litter all out the rear of the unit and continually becomes unengaged. I’ve taken it off and reinstalled it four times. Skip this accessory. I would take it off but I tossed the back without the connection. So it won’t work if I take it off and return it.

It's doing what it was advertised, however it took us over a week to realize it was supposed to be added as a separate product in the app because that wasn't apparent in the instructions.

Litter Hopper is Great!

I was fortunate to get this new accessory 2 weeks ago. I had to change my cycling time to get the best of it and not run out of litter quick, the robot is used by 3 cats and it was cycling too much. But I really enjoy the convenience!
