great addition

at first I thought I didn't install correctly because no litter came out which it was supposed to, but after a few cycles I did happen I suppose the litter robot was a little overfilled ever since working perfect!

Wow, the litter hopper changed my life

In general the Litter Robot 4 has changed my life. With three cats having an open litter box required me to scoop at least three times a day. You cannot smell that I have cats and I like to keep it that way. The litter hopper adds the extra advantage of automatically maintaining the litter level and it does a fantastic job.

Stop wasting litter!

I kept over-filling my LR4 and having it go straight into the waste bag, making me change it frequently. When it was under-filled, it got messy. I only have to add litter into the hopper when I change the bag. It makes life easier. I love my LR4, which I renamed R2-NoPoo.

Does the job

The litter hopper fits well. It seems that I’m wasting a lot less litter by having it decide when it should be filled. The only reason I didn’t give it a five is because I do have to take the lid off and and tap the litter down in the center because it seems to only funnel out from the center Instead of evenly going down as it is used.

Life much easier

This thing was super easy to put into the current unit. It senses when the litter level is low and automatically refills the litter. Much easier life with not having to fill litter all the time
