Works as expected

Excellent Accessory

I love it! This accessory was super easy to put together and attach to the litter robot. It's one less thing to have to take care of and certainly makes it easier for our pet sitters when we are away.

Convenient but wastes litter

The convenience is great, but I was expecting it to actually be smart and only add litter when needed. It actually adds litter after every cycle regardless if the litter level is still optimal. It is regularly overfilling the litter robot, so a good amount of litter is dumped in the waste drawer. I use expensive litter, so this was a big disappointment.

At first I was disappointed with my LR4 because the litter was running out so soon, waste was sticking all over the place…& the smell… My poor cats; after all that $$ I felt I failed them. Decided to add the hopper & all of those disappointments have been addressed…WHEW!

I'll start by saying that I gave four stars instead of five because the bonnet doesn't fit as snugly as the original bonnet. It is almost like it's slightly bigger and so it bows at the top and kind of pops out. It doesn't affect The functionality, but it does make it look not as nice.
We purchased The hopper because we had a tendency to forget to check the level of the litter and the litter would get low and then we would have stuck on messes that needed to be cleaned up. Installation of the hopper was easy and straightforward. The website has very clear instructions. For the first week or so we felt like the hopper was not dispensing litter as it should, and the level of the litter was getting lower than what we would have liked. However, after calibrating the optimal litter level, it has been perfect. We have a cat that likes to kick litter all over the place and so we were frequently low on litter and now it is always right at the top. I highly recommend this purchase. It is one less thing that we have

I am not allowed (Doctors orders) to take care of the litter and I hate the fact that falls onto my wife. So to make it easier on her not having to carry or pickup the litter to refill. This has been great!

Easy to install. Before the litterhopper, I had trouble knowing how much litter to add and one cat would pee outside of the litter (makes the litter stick to the liner. Now the litter is always at the optimal level and very few of the clumps stick to the liner
