Struggling with Pretty Litter

Almost a week, noticed litter not clumping @ 3min cycle, no clump & Hooper would back fill & jam. Adjust cycle to 7min. no better, went to 15min cycle hopper stopped jamming but clumps still loose. Went 25min then 30min. delay cycle.
Clumping much better, there is still a massive litter lose with each cycle shown in pic. So is Pretty Litter a problem?
Side note Litter Robot reports cats weight at around 7lbs when he is a hefty 15lbs?

Best addition to an already amazing litterbox

The litter robot was game changing, and somehow the litter hopper is just another game changer too! Super convenient, gets rid of the annoyance of filling litter in the right way, and makes things even more hands off. Now all we need to remember is emptying the trash bin.

Want to love it…but don’t

I really like the idea of the hopper and it functions as advertised which is great. But, it only tops up the globe when the litter level gets critically low, then only adds a bit of litter. Instead of always keeping the litter filled to the max line, it keeps the litter fractionally above the bare minimum. The surface area of litter is not enough to keep the cats from peeing outside the litter line so there’s always bits of dried pee globs stuck to the lining. I still have to add litter by hand to keep it operating optimally and only rely on the hopper as a back up. If it kept the litter filled up as I assumed it would, I’d be overjoyed with this accessory.

Nice idea but needs improvement

The bonnet is still to flimsy and this makes opening and closing it very hard. The latches are hard to get to release. It is inconvenient to have to take the hopper off to open the bonnet. I have had to open the bonnet several times to clear litter that has gone astray and jams the tub. It only takes one small piece of litter to cause such a problem. It would be nice to know more about the operation of the hopper. Like; is it hooked up? Is it jammed? How full does it think the tub is? The ability to change how full the tub is.
I do think that there is promise in this system saving time, just not now.

Good Upgrade!

The litter hopper was an awesome investment for making the tasks I have to do a lot easier and less frequent. Filling the hopper is much easier for me VS trying to fill through the front. It was an easy install and easy to maintain. I love it!
