Straightforward installation

The LitterHopper® is a wonderful addition to my LitterRobot 4. The LitterRobot 4 was instrumental in alerting me to one of my cats. He was making frequent visits and was losing weight. I was able to get to the Vet early enough to diagnose and avoid further complications. Thank you LR, Superb product!

This thing is a game changer. I just moved into a new place and purchased this since it wouldn't fit in my old home…….how did i go this long without it?!?! I think i do a fraction of work now compared to always monitoring the cat litter level so it wouldn't smell.
Highly recommend getting this for yours if you are able to. Make sure to do the autobalance and fill to just below the fill line. This sets where the fill line is and how often the robot will dispense. Also, id take a minute to blow/wipe out the sensors since you are taking it apart already to make sure everything is good before starting.

Could be better

First off the directions never tell you, you have to add the device to the app or it wont function at all. It constantly has power issues and I've spent more time trouble shooting than actually getting it to run. Then it tells me to refill the litter soon and stops running because it thinks its low even when it is more than half full. Then you have to do a littler level reset to get it function again. If I had not thrown the old hopper top out I would return this piece of garbage.

I was a little worried the new bonnet fit a little weird but it seems to be working good and has added litter a few times now so I’m happy with it.
