Not sure why the hopper suddenly stopped refilling litter automatically. Each time I try to add the device, there’s no litter robot detected. Make it make sense.
It doesn't seem to be working consistently. I did the recalibration of the litter level and it was fine for a while, but now my litter level is extremely low again. I know that I need to go through the trouble shootings steps, but I'm a busy person and it is seeming like too much of a hassle. However, when it is working properly it gives me piece of mind and also prevents me from the inevitable bit of mess that happens when I try to poor fresh litter in the front opening.
Not a single hitch. Had the Hopper for almost a month and it operates perfectly, adding litter automatically as needed, and making taking care of Fiona a little easier. We both love it!
I purchased it because I appreciate the concept that it can refill itself. However, it frequently goes offline and often doesn't work, leaving me to question whether the extra money I spent was worth it. To be honest, I don't think it was. It's a good idea, but regardless of whether I'm at home and the internet is functioning, this device keeps going offline.
it gets jammed and we do all the troubleshooting and a week later it says it’s jammed again. it’s a mess to take apart and clean up too because litter just pours out
The idea of this thing was really intriguing. After buying this and trying it out for several weeks, it has been more of a burden. The little cup on the back of the bowl, where the litter drops in it, makes it so the litter leaks out and gets inside of the housing and underneath which makes a huge mess. In the instructions through the QR Code that they give, it says that the design was specifically made to remain loose so as the drum is rotating around that it is able to do so. I know that I have installed everything correctly, but I keep getting errors on my app, that says, pinch detected. Weight sensor has been active for more than 30 minutes. Those types of errors makes it so I have to go in there and clean, take everything out and suck out the litter that has leaked into the main housing down by where the motor is at. Having the litter in the canal in the back of the drum that leaks out is causing my whole drum to get scratches and is damaging the entire unit itself, to where eventually I will need to buy
