Good intentions, poor execution

I just bought this bag and wanted to love it. Unfortunately there are too many design flaws. It is so structured and stiff you can’t reach to the bottom of the bag or pockets. It’s a struggle to get a small laptop inside. The zipper does not breakaway. The pen holders are too small to fit pens in them. The trolley strap is too small to fit over the handle of a suitcase easily. The interior detachable purse is a good idea but too small to fit anything other than a cell phone and keys. Good intentions but poor execution as a women’s work bag. I want to return it but I enthusiastically threw out the packaging before I tried the bag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love a nice purse, crossbody, wallet, hobo bag, tote, carry on bag, and luggage bag if you can carry it, I love it! I’m obsessed with this Samsonite Tote!!! I love love love everything about it!! The look, feel, durability, the many compartments, just everything! The pictures do no justice. I love it so much that I’m torn between carrying it or letting it sit on a shelf to be admired, if you know you know!! Ugh!! 😩 Why does adulting have to be so complicated!!! Samsonite hands down is one of the best! Thanks

High quality and useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so thrilled with the quality and functionality of this carry-all tote! For starters, it is nice and roomy with plenty of space for a change of clothes in the main compartment. It has a separate compartment for a laptop and even a sleeve for a tablet (or notebook). All of the compartments are zippered making them feel very secure. The fabric feels very durable and easy to wipe off any dirt. I was shocked to see that my tall water bottle was able to fit upright AND I could still zip the bag shut over it. The bag fits over the handle of my large suitcase perfectly, so I won’t have to carry it on my shoulder while waiting in airports. It even comes with a little RFID pouch to securely store important IDs and documents. The only thing I don’t love is how that pouch opens - it’s a bit stiff, and the piece connecting the two zippered gets in the way a bit. Otherwise, this is the perfect travel tote and I can’t wait to put it to use!
