I have Dish Network, and Roku doesn't offer the app. Why not? Roko offers Direct TV. Makes no sense.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

50" screen is great for sports.
My prior set was 32" & was 13 years old so it was not considered a "smart" TV.
Remote is easy to use & replaces remote provided by Spectrum.
