Love it but…

Had to return as it doesn’t have 0 clearance on the hinges so I wasn’t able to open the door as it was against a wall.

I love my fridge

It’s sleek, well lit, adjustable full width shelves with a full width deli drawer. No handles on the doors as well,

Noisy, noisy, noisy!

We we replaced our old 20 year old Frigidaire because it was starting to make funny noises and just plain worn out. I thought because we got a Gallery series it would be a step above most base models. But this unit is very loud and noisy. The compressor is loud and it sounds like it wants to fly off its mounts when staring and shutting down. Also there is a loud gurgling sound all the time while it is running. The design of this fridge is great. The operation of the refrigeration cycle not good, Very disappointing!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some sounds you’re describing—such as brief loud compressor start/stop noises and occasional gurgling—can be normal as refrigerant moves through the system and the compressor cycles on and off. However, there are a few basic checks that may help reduce excess noise:

Ensure the refrigerator is level front-to-back and side-to-side, as improper leveling can amplify vibration and compressor noise
Make sure the unit is not touching surrounding cabinets or walls, which can transmit sound
Check that nothing inside or behind the refrigerator is vibrating or contacting the rear panel
Allow adequate clearance for airflow at the back and top of the unit
If newly installed or recently moved, allow 24–48 hours for the system to stabilize

If the compressor noise feels excessive or unusually loud during start-up, it may still require a service inspection to ensure proper mounting and operation.
