Quiet and efficient

Pleased with New Frigidaire Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our new Frigidaire top freezer refrigerator back in December as our existing refrigerator was pretty "elderly" and definitely not energy efficient. So far, so good .. . .we're very happy with our Frigidaire. It's a simple yet pleasing design, without all the bells and whistles - but that's what we were looking for. It's a good size for us, nicely designed inside and out. Having a light in the freezer is a great feature! We're off to a good start and hope it last for many years.

Decent refrigerator for limited spacing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i purchased this refrigerator to occupy space that was custom built for my previous appliance. It is very frustrating to find a refrigerator that is small enough to fit 30 year old kitchen cabinetry without remodeling the entire layout. This refrigerator is functional, good looking, decent quality and fit perfectly. It resists fingerprints and can be easily cleaned for the occasional marks.
The freezer light is a bonus and I find it hard to believe so many other brands miss this simple functionality. I purchased an additional freezer shelf as it made sense to be able to better use the space. I am trying to understand why Frigidaire doesn’t include this as part of the package as the shelving configuration would leave a top shelf with a lot of wasted space. It may have something to do with blocking the airflow vents but I am sure you could arrange items so that these aren’t hindered. I expect that to arrive within a week so I am unable to comment on that.
Some people stated that the refrigerator was loud. I didn’t feel it was any noisier than my GE refrigerator and I barely pay attention to it. Yes there are occasional pops and moaning from the unit but nothing overbearing or different than any other refrigerator I have previously owned.
Overall the interior space has plenty of room for storing food for 2 people. I have hosted a few dinner parties and never felt a lack of space. It can fit multiple 13x9 lasagna sized pans and still have plenty of room for appetizers, large salad bowls and more. I appreciate the roominess of the refrigerator doors and the ability to store a few bottles of wine on the lowest one. Overall I believe this unit would work for smaller families.
The vegetable crisper bins measured larger than other models I looked at which is great for storing excess garden vegetables. One person commented on these bins being filmsy but I felt they were similar quality to other brands I looked at.
The large deli bin is a bonus and a nice feature in my opinion.
Overall I am happy with this unit in comparison to other models I looked at. I’ve only owned it for a month but expect it will service me well in the years to come.

Love love love

And what I really love is that everything is visible so I don’t forget that I bought something. I used to waste a lot of money because food would spoil because it was out of sight. Plus the fact that I can adjust it easily for my needs is wonderfully convenient. I love the top freezer. For me, having a bottom freezer felt like things would get lost in the great abyss. The top freezer is roomy and well lit so I don’t forget what I have.
