Truly Superior

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded my shower game from “high school locker room nostalgia” to “grown man with a mortgage,” and the difference is Duke Cannon Superior Body Wash.
Let’s start with the obvious: Axe smells like you’re trying to win a middle school dance-off in 2009. Old Spice smells like your uncle who says things like “back in my day” and owns at least three novelty T-shirts. Duke Cannon? It smells like you just split a log with your bare hands and then filed your taxes early for fun.
The word “Superior” on the bottle isn’t a suggestion. It’s a warning to lesser body washes.
First off, the lather. Axe gives you that sad, disappearing foam that feels like it’s apologizing for existing. Old Spice lathers decently, sure — but Duke Cannon? One squeeze and it’s like a tactical foam operation. You’re not “washing up. ” You’re conducting a cleanliness mission.
Second, the scent. Duke Cannon smells clean, bold, and unapologetically manly — not “I panic-sprayed half a can before gym class. ” It doesn’t announce your arrival from three zip codes away. It just quietly says, “Yes, I am capable of assembling furniture without looking at the instructions. ”
And can we talk about the size of the bottle? Axe bottles look like they belong in a toiletry kit next to a travel toothbrush. Duke Cannon’s bottle looks like it could double as gym equipment. It’s not made for boys who still say “bro” every other word. It’s made for men who say “I’ll take care of it” and actually do.
In summary:
Axe = For boys trying to impress.
Old Spice = For men who still think they’re in a commercial.
Duke Cannon Superior Body Wash = For grown men who smell good on purpose.
