[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buffalo Trace is not for the faint of heart. It is a strong, distinct, manly scent. I love Duke Cannon bar soap. I have enjoyed every scent I have tried. I keep coming back to this scent. It's awesome.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It smells fine. I guess I am just not a fan of bar soap anymore. Lathers good and all that. Just not a fan.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soap has the right amount of scent added that it’s not overwhelming and lasts much longer than other soaps I have purchased.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this soap in the “ military grade scrubber “ Works well leaves you clean and fresh And it lasts a long time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells good and leaves ur skin feeling and looking better than other soap brands. It also cleans better than other soap brands.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best smelling and most effective soap I’ve ever used. Period. I even recommend it to people I don’t like. It’s that good.
It’s a great soap just like all other DC soaps are. The reason I docked this one a star was because it’s just a bit dull. I only really smell woods. Like stepping into a sawmill wood. It could’ve honestly just been called lumber because outside of the name and packaging it doesn’t evoke much else for me. I know it’s bourbon “barrel” but it would’ve been nice if they added some sweetness and vanilla to just tie it into the actual bourbon part. Just enough to linger and give it some lift. On the plus side it smells really strong. It is much stronger than the Midnight Swim bar I just finished. It’s definitely a manly scent, but I won’t be too disappointed to move onto another bar. I’ve got a backup bar of this and it’ll be pushed to the end of the rotation line most likely.
