[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have loved skin care since I was young. It only made sense that I became an aesthetician. My passion for skin care overflowed into make up as well as supplemental. I currently work for a naturopath doctor and we help people heal from the inside out. I perform numerous treatments to help slow the aging process. I couldn't love what I do any more and only wish to help more people through my knowledge and training of skin and makeup practices as well as my education on nutritional supplements. I am 36 with three kids and the signs of aging are creeping up faster than I would like! I love to try things to combat that while staying out of a doctors office.This tool is a three in one and a lot of fun to use! It pulses serums deeper into the epidermis, unclogs congested pores, and lifts and tones the muscles. You can use the lifting and the pulsing settings daily, while the extraction setting is meant to be used weekly. I didn't find the extraction setting to be overly irritating and was able to use it two to three times a week on highly congested areas like my nose and cheeks. I saw minimal results with the extraction setting, however, the serum pulsing setting that drives products deeper into the skin visibly worked and the lifting setting was by far my favorite. As a mid 30s mom to three, I have noticed the subtle signs of aging and love finding healthy, natural ways to slow the process. This tool is botox for me. I have been off botox for 5 years and this tool lifts and tightens in just the same ways with zero side effects and a tiny percent of the cost! This is great for 20s and up to help slow aging and keep skin looking plump and fresh!

Interesting Skincare Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a beauty enthusiast and am very interested in how skincare tools can elevate my beauty routine, so I was really excited to try out the Wave Pro Spatula Device by PMD and see how it may be able to help my acne and clogged pores. Overall, I do really like this device. The design makes it very easy to maneuver, and I love the color! It's easy to hold and fits smoothly in my hand without being too slick or easy to drop. One of my favorite things about this device is that it's multipurpose- it can be used to infuse your skincare more effectively, "lift" the facial muscles, unclog the debris out of clogged pores, and extract blackheads and whiteheads. However, I have found that the extraction feature doesn't work very effectively for me when I'm trying to extract an individual blackhead or whitehead. I've tried it a few times on blackheads on several different areas of my face, but haven't had much luck. I've been using the lift function as well, but I expect that it will take a more extended period of time to see noticeable results. I have also been using the extract function across the face, with a focus on some of my more clogged areas, as directed in the instructions. I don't think I've noticed any big differences immediately after using this function, but I do think it's possible that it will continue to decrease the clogging of my pores over time with regular use. The infusion function seems to work quite well. Overall, I think that the product gives a more effective cleaning and declogging of the face, which I really appreciate! I do want to note that the tool does give off a high-pitched sound when you're using it. I have sensitive ears, so the sound is a bit painful for me, and I've taken to wearing earplugs or headphones while using it. The noise isn't enough to deter me from using the product, but I do think it's something to take note of if you have sensitive hearing. Additionally, I do wish there were some more detailed instructions included with the packaging of the device. I found a more detailed review of how to use the product on the PMD website, but the device is a bit tricky, so I wish there were more instructions included in the box. That said, I would still recommend this device to anyone looking for a multi-purpose tool to elevate their skincare routine!

They are now branching out into having their own supply of skincare to be used with the tools!!!PMD Wave Pro is a wonderful tool for somebody that is way over teenage years but still have acneic prone skin with great deal of unbalance (oiliness vs dryness) and texture. The interesting thing about PMD Wave Pro is it the jack of all trades: it can extract, enhance skin care absorption and lift and tone with using the "right" side of the tool with a correct motion.I found PMD Wave Pro to be very useful for my acneic prone skin. It does deliever on all the levels from higher penetration of the "star" ingredients in your favourite cream to toning up your complexion when you need it, especially on the go.

Not a necessity, needs practice to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a 30 year old female and have been creating beauty content for over 2 years now. I have combination skin type with open pores and I apply makeup quite often, so I like to keep my pores clean for the skincare to penetrate better. I am not going to lie but skincare devices like such intimidate me, because first you need to learn how to use them properly and then actually take time to use them. I found wave pro quite lightweight. I use it mostly for extraction, which is mode 1, and it does not hurt and keep my pores clean. Other two modes, Mode 2 and 3 which are infuse and lift need a bit of practice and you definitely need to add a few extra minutes to your daily routine in order to actually see some results, and I am still getting used to them. I see some lifting effect but still exploring to see long term results. I am not really a fan of the sounds it makes in each mode, although it does add to the aesthetic but I can do without them. It charges quickly and the battery lasts for quite a few rounds. I would recommend it to somebody who can add this to their routine because the most I have been using it for is extraction and it's not a great investment just for that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this product because it's gentler than using my fingers and fingernails on my face but the vibrations can be weird! I felt like it was shocking me in a sense and it made my ears hurt. I think I might be able to get used to it later. I still think it's great but I would be cautious if you have metal in your face or have a medical condition that could affect it. I think it's nice for most of the face but some places of the face it can be hard to get the exact spot without hurting yourself so be careful! Also, flatter spots are harder to open up so extractions can be harder with those. There is a lot of trial and error because the top of the wand is curved in a way that is unusual to me. This product can also be used to penetrate products deeper.

We are glad you're getting the hang of it! This tool can be so beneficial to any skincare routine. The PMD Wave Pro has a high oscillation that allows each mode to function at an optimal frequency. The extract mode uses this frequency to produce negative ions to help remove the oil and debris on the skin and within the pores. The infuse mode uses this frequency to produce positive ions to help split and absorb the skincare. These frequencies do have a "chirping" sound to them depending on how sensitive the ears are. If it is chirping, that's how you know it's working well. AND as mentioned, always read the Quick start guide carefully for cautions and warnings on medical conditions and the use of any PMD device.
