The feeder was very easy to set up and add to my account/app. It is great quality and a great price point for a camera/wifi feeder. Really excited to see what hummingbirds types will come through the yard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always loved hummingbirds. We have tried hummingbird feeders in the past but weren't sure that they ever "worked" in our location. We almost never spotted birds at the feeder. This feeder has been a game changer. Within 24 hours of setting it up I had a half dozen visits and with a few days was up to close to two dozen visits. It's so much fun to be able to go back and view the activity.
Set up on this birdfy device was quick and easy - probably the easiest of all of the devices we have used. It literally took an hour to charge the camera and then under five minutes to put the few pieces together and hang in the yard.
My ONLY complaint is that because you traditionally hang a hummingbird feeder rather than mounting it, it blows in the wind quite a bit and this means that the camera detects "motion" that is actually just movement of the background because the feeder is swinging in the breeze. This means that I sometimes get a dozen videos an hour but there might only be two with a hummingbird. It's a small but annoying issue. I still ove this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this feeder for about 2 weeks and am delighted by the clarity of the camera and the easy setup. I also love that you can adjust the camera sensitivity, that's a feature I did not expect, but really value. I have the camera in my front garden facing a busy street and have been able to adjust the sensitivity so that I'm alerted only about my little garden friends and not every car passing by.
Since nectar needs to be refreshed so often I was concerned that it would be difficult to open, clean, and refill the dish, but that part has been seamless too. I'm really pleased with this addition to what is now a whole collection of birdfy devices. Highly recommend!

My Favorite Feeder

We absolutely love the Birdfy feeders. We really enjoy watching the birds at the feeders. We have the Birdfy, Birdfy 2 and now the Hum Feeder Ruby which is my favorite. It is a great price point, easy to put together and the camera quality is incredible. Watch my video. You can even see the hummingbirds tongue come out after drinking! I would absolutely recommend buying the Hum Feeder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this hummingbird feeder! It is one of my favorite Birdfy devices. Easy to set up, easy to hang. The only one thing I did notice is that it is sometimes hard to remove the base from the top to clean the feeder, but this feature also prevents it from leaking so I gently use a butter knife to help pop them apart. I love seeing all the different hummingbirds in our area and highly recommend getting the AI subscription as well.

Small and easy to set-up

Set-up for this feeder is super simple! There are only two parts- the camera and the base that holds the nectar. As with other Birdfy feeders, it's quick and easy to add through the app. It took less than five minutes from opening the box to putting it outside. It's also small, so it was easy to find a spot for it in the yard. We tested the camera and it's excellent with clear and bright pictures. We haven't had any visitors yet, but we just put it out, so I'm hoping they find it soon!
