Great camera feeder with large capacity

This feeder is such a fantastic addition to my yard. I love being able to view nature, and this wonderful camera feeder allows me to see the birds with a close-up view that’s quite special. With the width of the feeding platform, there are often several birds on it at the same time, and it’s so much fun watching birds feast together. It’s also a lot of fun to see which birds seem to be okay with sharing the feeding platform and which ones are more territorial when feeding. The feeder feels very sturdy, and I’m hoping that the metal holds up well over time. The feeder is weighty enough to feel solid and also light enough that it’s easy to handle, and it was extremely easy to set up. The mounting bracket is a great design and contributed to the ease of setup, and I appreciated that there was a template for the bracket included in the box so that I could drill pilot holes with the right spacing. I love that this feeder has a solar panel built right in, and the design of how the camera fits into the feeder is clever and works very well. I like the fact that the perch can be moved further and closer to the feeder platform, and the knobs that drive the movement of the perch are well-designed and very effective. I like that this feeder has a fairly high capacity, and even though many birds have come by to enjoy it, I haven’t had to refill it as quickly as other nearby feeders due to the very generous capacity. The camera is high-quality and has captured some great footage so far, and I look forward to seeing what it continues to capture as time goes on. I think this is a great product that would be loved and appreciated by anyone who enjoys feeding and watching the birds!

Less Mess, Fewer Squirrels, and More Birds!

I've been using the Birdfy Feeder Metal side by side with my original Birdfy feeder, and I've been loving it! I have been seeing some new birds, bluebirds and chickadees, only at my new metal one, which has been so fun! The feeders are right next to each other, and since they use the same bird food, it's neat to see more and different kinds of birds attracted to this feeder! This feeder also does deter squirrels really well. Once they found my other feeder, it was game over until I put some cayenne pepper into the bird seed. I have not had this problem with the new bird feeder, and the squirrels have been poking around, so I know they are curious. They've hopped back on my other one, but haven't touched the new one!
One of the best parts is that because of how the tray is set up, there is much less seed spilling onto the ground. Because of this, I don't have to refill the feeder as much, it doesn't attract ground foraging squirrels, and it doesn't kill my grass! It easily accommodates two to three birds at a time, which is so much fun to watch. The camera quality is excellent, and the solar panels work flawlessly. Even with some shade during the day, my feeder keeps the camera fully charged.
It feels too heavy to pole mount, but you can mount it to a pole with the provided clamps, and it will stay put!! I would (and do) recommend this to anyone with a yard full of wildlife. It looks great and works really well.

Fantastic video feeder!

I bought this feeder two weeks ago and it is fantastic. The feeder is very sturdy and will last years. The built-in solar panel ensures it will not run out of power while not being an add on that sticks out or requires additional mounting.
The experience gets even better when paired with the AI bird recognition. It regularly identified bird species and sexes that are not always easy for me to differentiate between.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very pleased with this model. It's nice that it has everything built in so it's compact and self charging through the built in solar panel. It was easy to assemble and the app is user friendly. The video and images are crisp and clear. My family loves to see what has visited our feeder each day. It's nice to have a built in alarm to chase off unwanted guests. We only chase them if they are being greedy. I would recommend this feeder to anyone who loves watching birds and it would make a great gift also.

No more squirrel damage

There are a lot of feeders out there that claim to be squirrel proof and I have watched almost all of them fail. This is a different direction. they may get some seed but they cannot destroy the feeder at the same time. The seed tray cleaned by removing the seed guard, which is held in by twist tabs which is much easier an something that they cannot just pull out. The top attaches with a hook on the back and the roof slides forward and back to engage it. There are 2 screws to adjust the tension so you can adjust for you hand strenght. The nicest little thing is that the screws for the perch both turn the same way! Turn to the back to loosen and front to tighten.

Fabulous addition! Easy to assemble and install, large seed capacity with seed tray and adjustable perch! Built in solar panel a definite plus. Amazing videos with such clarity and detail. Would highly recommend this feeder!
