Connect to SmartThings first and then the Govee App

I searched all over but couldn't find any information on how to make it work with Samsung SmartThings. Eventually I figured it out. To get it to work, when plugging it in you need to setup Matter first, before the Govee App. Initially I setup the Govee app and then spent hours trying to get SmartThings to connect with it. That resulted in a lot of frustration and the light never working with SmartThings.
After getting SmartThings working and then connecting to the Govee App, it works great. I am really happy with this purchase.

Works great with the Govee app. Lots of options, including sound reactive effects. Also compatible with Matter (and home assistant) but the options are very limited there (to on/off/solid color)

Absolutely LOVE this light! It has tons of different settings to match ANY mood, and is very easy to operate! It's so cool set on music, as it changes colors and blinks to the beat! Am definitely considering getting another one.
