Major design flaw

Nice microwave, but it has a major design flaw. It's designed to be a drawer (as in below the countertop). This means the controls are at waist level, making them extremely difficult to read/use. You have to lean all the way over to read/use the controls. They should have the controls tilt up to make them useable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overpriced and low quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, this is an overpriced and horrible product. Almost every time I open it it squeaks, especially after I put something in the microwave that ends up, causing some steam.
I go to collect food out of the microwave and the door just closes automatically on me at times. It’s like it has a mind of its own.
If I had it to do over again, I would never buy this product

We'd like to help out with the door closing on you. We recommend trying out an electronic reset. This can be done by shutting off power at the breaker for 2-3 minutes, then powering it back on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave works fine. The drawer design looks nice in my new kitchen but it is difficult to clean. At times after pushing the open button the drawer opens fully but then immediately closes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A good tip to know is that an occasional thorough wiping with a solution of baking soda and water keeps the inside fresh. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG I am in love with this drawer microwave!!! It looks so beautiful, elegant and luxurious in stainless steel color, which matches all my other appliances as well as the color of my cabinet! We have not yet installed it to our cabinet yet but by looking at the instructions and how our cabinet set up, it seems super easy and quick to install. It is quite large so can accomodates large plates easily. The thing that I like is that it’s easy to open and close, you just need to press the open or close button. It has a wide range of cooking options for you to choose, and especially the Sensor cook and heat to adjust the time and power so you don’t have to worry about your foods are burned by the time you open the microwave.
It looks so beautiful in my kitchen, replacing my over the range microwave, which is so inconvenient for me because I am short LOL.

Beautiful Design. It's Perfect for our Kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the GE Profile Microwave Drawer Oven, and I couldn’t be happier with it. It looks so great in my kitchen and matches my other stainless appliances perfectly.. The drawer design is sleek and super convenient, allowing for easy access without bending over or reaching high. We love the pull out drawer style design. It's perfect for my wife who is shorter and has difficulty with a traditional microwave. She absolutely loves it. Another nice feature is that the drawer itself slides in and out with a push of a button. The buttons and controls on the main display are simple to use and straight forward. It has all the programs you will need, along with a button for adding additional time if needed. I personally use this feature daily. The microwave performs flawlessly and I see no issues with temperature. The GE Profile Microwave Drawer Oven does everything we will ever need it to do and looks beautiful doing so. We have already received a couple compliments on it from friends and family. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, me too. 😅 Enter the GE Profile Microwave Drawer Oven—this thing is so sleek it might just outshine your countertops. With its stainless steel and black design, it’s basically the little black dress of the kitchen world—goes with everything and always looks sharp. 🖤✨
The drawer design was a first for me, and I’m pretty sure my life will never be the same. I can now slide in a full 13x9 casserole dish with the grace of a figure skater. ⛸️ That’s right, no more awkward angling or questionable Tetris skills to make things fit. And that quick +30 second feature? My new BFF. I use it to reheat my coffee all day long because apparently, adulting means I never finish a cup while it’s hot. ☕➡️🔥
But, a quick heads up: the drawer is top-loading, so if you’re planning on installing this beauty at eye level or higher, you might want to reconsider unless you enjoy microwave acrobatics. 🤸♀️ This thing is perfect at counter height or lower—just keep that in mind when planning your kitchen layout. 🏡
