[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reasonable priced compared to competition. Trusted name, been using GE products for over 30 years. Controls and configuration are laid out well, clean design. Convection and induction features is why I chose this model. The clean out tray is a very nice idea.

Big upgrade from supposed top pick.

We bought a house with an induction unit and that was a selling point for us. We love induction. But getting used to the stove which was a Wirecutter top pick was frustrating. We hated it. Fortunately ;) my husband dropped a heavy tumbler on it just right and shattered the top. In the market and needing a budget pick we chose a brand we had used before. Love it. The knobs are knobs and don’t scream at you every time you brush them. The burners are varied enough in size enough to fit what they should. A shallow silicone lip is a nice touch in case of boil overs. We could not be happier! .

Lack of Decent Bridged Elements Limit the Stovetop
on February 20, 2026

I've only been using this new range for a few days, but so far I'm happy with the purchase. I'd probably go 4 stars right now as I'm still getting used to it, but can't go above 3 stars because the bridge between the two left induction elements is useless. I purchases a cast iron griddle specifically to use on this bridge and only the two areas over the elements heated up enough to cook the eggs on. The middle of the griddle stayed cold so what was meant to be fried eggs turned into scrambled eggs. GE was misleading in its advertising which led the consumer to believe that the entire bridge between the two induction elements heated up, which is not true. If you have a griddle you would be better off using the 11 inch and 6 inch elements on the right side, which are spaced much closer together than the two 7 inch elements on the left side. Not the end of the world, but when the range only has one decent sized burner in the 11 inch element, I was kind of depending on that bridge for larger dishes. Disappointing.

We do not offer a bridge burner on this range. The range does feature a Griddle Zone. The Griddle Zone allows you to use the left front and rear burners together to create a larger cooking area for cookware like roasting pans and griddles. The two burners are situated close enough together, so there is no need for a middle element to "bridge" the two together. Simply set both burners to the same heat setting.

So far, absolutely no complaints. Love the air fry and induction heating. Just started my journey with this stove. It looks fantastic in my small kitchen.

Here and Installed

Just arrived yesterday and haven't cooked on it yet. However, we did test it by putting 3-4 cups of water in a pan and turning burner on high. It boiled in under 20 seconds!! This is going to be fun to learn how to use. And it is beautiful; complements the decor of my kitchen and make my home feel modern and up to date.

First induction stove and we love it

First induction stove and we love it. Much easier to clean than traditional electric. Very quick to heat up pans. A bit of a learning curve but no big deal.

Great range, broken buttons
on September 4, 2025

EDIT: I'm taking another star off. A tech came out (quickly, and very nice) and replaced the entire touch panel on the stove. Guess what, the same exact issue persists! It's really frustrating because half the time, it works 100% of the time. And the other half the time, it doesn't work at all. Especially when a timer is beeping. This seems like a design flaw.
Original review:
So far the induction top has been great for us - boils quickly, easy to clean. The convection has also worked well.
I'd love to give this a higher rating, but unfortunately the buttons simply don't work well. Half the time they don't seem to register my press, and I often have to contort my hands to make them work. It's unfortunate they decided to cut costs here - maybe our unit is defective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to assist you with the control panel of your range. We recommend unplugging the unit for 5 minutes and plugging it back in. If the issue persists, please schedule a service appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 833-426-3393 or schedule online at https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service

Modern kitchen upgrade!

The Profile induction range was a long overdue upgrade to my 36-year old GE electric coil range. I love the convenience of the SmartHQ and Alexa integration providing voice control and status notifications via WiFi.
