Dont heat fadt or equally

Dont heat electrically very fast. dont heat food equally accross the grill. Seems this could have been corrected either by better engineering of the draft and / or the burner.

This new Bistro Pro Electric Grill & Griddle Charcoal Mode has a excellent fit & finish. All hardware was included. It was fairly easy to assemble if you take your time and not be in a hurry.

I originally had the Bistro Electric basic model several years ago....Charbroil has improved this line of product greatly. If you live in a condo, villas, apartment or other grill code restricted area...this is a must have!
The grill is electric with a charcoal option that is easy-to-use. The grill comes with a Stainless steel griddle that is conveniently stored underneath the business part of the grill. The great thing is you may take apart the entire top portion of the grill, except the infrared coil, rinse in your sink and then place grate and all into your dishwasher. All of the parts are stainless steel some have a ceramic type coating but are dishwasher safe. To add life to your grill be sure to purchase a grill cover that fits to keep dust and the elements off your Bistro.
Now to the cooking part.
I always Preheat the grill at level 5 setting being sure to have any other baskets, trays or the griddle preheating as well. Use a preferred cooking spray that can be used at high temperatures for all your accessories including the grill grate this makes cleanup tons easier.
Once grill is preheated turn it off and quickly spray grate or accessories you will be using with cooking spray then close grill turn back on (this will minimize any flare-up that may occur).
Now adjust temperature to the desired temp. There are excellent cooking guides at Charbroil.com plus you may want to register your grill for parts later on. Overall this beast is totally cool! And remember keep the lid CLOSED while cooking, a kettle grill requires the lid to be closed for proper airflow.

The new looks a slick and I love the new logo "CB" Charbroil should hold its own for a barbecuing leader. This grill is a serious game changer and my buddies are so jealous!Heats up to over 600 degrees.

Appearance and size are well crafted. Super disappointed after researching this product to find it so difficult to clean on the very first use. I read the claims of it being easy, but I fail to understand how anyone describes cleaning this as easy. It must have taken me at least an hour after cooling to attempt cleaning the grates and reflector baffles, "attempt" being the operative word. Decided burgers would be a nice safe start to begin with in grill mode and even though the cooking process went ok I was left with burnt residue fused to the grates that simply would not come completely off. I soaked and scrubbed with a stiff (not damaging) brush. but it wouldn't budge. And, yes, I did apply oil to the grates before grilling. In addition, the reflector plates inside were also coated with residue and blackened during first use. Instructions emphasized the need to keep all parts clean but I don't see how that is possible when the carbon bakes on as if being seasoned. There is no way to retain any reflective properties on these once they darken with use. If this is expected and not a concern it was not explained. But if every use requires this level of (unsuccessful) cleaning I do not feel it is worth all the time and effort. At this point I am debating whether to register the product or return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
