A30 nailed it!

I have used my Bose A30 for three weeks now. It is the best headset on the market. I have used an A20 for the last 6 years. At that time I personally think the A20 was a much better headset. Fast forward to 2023, Bose did it!! A30 all day long! You won’t be disappointed!

Comfortable replacement for my old X headset. Very expensive, but probably a better value after 15 or 20 years of inflation than the original Series 1 or 2 headsets, and certainly more comfortable than even the more recent X headset. Not sure how much use I will get out of the bluetooth interface, but I will at least give it a try.,

Prefer A20 so far.

I have been using the A20 for years and I love it. I used the A30 on a three day trip and I like the lighter weight. However the ear cups don’t seal as well and I get some flutter especially on take off roll. I’m going to try them again but so far I’m an A20 believer.

I kept getting a background vibration noise which was very annoying in a Boeing MAX aircraft. My crew member had the same headset and did not have the issue.

Awesome Headset

I bought the A30 Headset about a month and have flown about 60 hours with them (including a 6.5 hour leg) and they have been great! Very comfortable and no issues with the sound quality. The Bluetooth feature is great - have been able to call a couple of AWOS numbers and get the weather at a Glass E airport enroute before talking to approach.

Great headset, my first Bose , wasn't sure what to expect but I was glad it outperformed my previous ones. Comfortable, no pressure points, long wear comfort, quiet enough where I can still hear the engine, and very clear for communication. Bluetooth and side outside speakers is a nice feature.
