Okay, so after having this machine for a couple of weeks I’m going to make a Pro / Con list so that my thoughts on the Cuisinart Espresso Bar Grind & Brew Espresso Machine are clear and concise!
Pros:
-BEAUTIFUL aesthetic machine
-Able to grind fresh whole beans, with bean storage at top
-Espresso comes out smooth and tasty
-Holds A LOT of water in the reservoir
-Has a warming plate at the top to keep your cup warm before brewing
-Easy to brew/follow instructions
-Easy setup and maintenance
-Auto shut-off after not being used for 30 minutes
-Pieces have their own storage tray within the drip tray which is convenient
-Fits nicely on my coffee bar next to my Keurig and coffee accessories
-There is a COLD button for ICED DRINKS that actually dispenses your brew at room temperature, it’s amazing

Cons:
-Reservoir kept leaking into drip tray until I brewed the first cup of espresso (no leak so far after that but I am keeping watch)
-Machine is noticeably on (not necessarily loud but you can hear something going on) when heating up and brewing
-Using the steaming/hot water wand takes a bit getting used to especially if you have never used one
-If you have small children like me, KEEP THIS MACHINE AWAY AT ALL TIMES! It is big, hot, and scary for little ones I don’t even want to imagine if they got a hold of it

Enjoy a cup of coffee everyday

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Design: the machine is a bit bulky compared to other similar machines. The tamping mechanism is really useless and taking a lot of space. I would prefer using my own leveler and tamper, instead of this. The steam wand should be a bit longer.
Performance: I tried to dial the espresso and got pretty good results. The coffee tasted smooth and fruity, similar to the results from my Breville Bambino. However, the pressure seems not as strong as the Bambino. The steam pressure is also a bit less powerful. The cup warmer works well.
Experience: The whole espresso making process is nice. The machine came with plenty of useful accessories such as non-pressurized portafilter, milk jug, tamper, dosing funnel.
Overall: I will need more time to know the machine better. Right now, I give it 3.5/5 for the current experience.

The Cuisinart Espresso Bar Grind & Brew Espresso Machine is so easy to use. I now have the coffee shop at home! Setup was simple and the instructions are very clear. My favorite features of this product are: the ability to produce hot & cold espresso shots, the espresso shot warmer on top, the adjustable grind setting, & the built-in frother. This machine replaces so many different machines for coffee production seamlessly. I can’t recommend it enough!

Great Espresso Every Time

This machine has become the main focus of my kitchen. So incredibly easy to use and brew a perfect espresso every time. Getting the right grind took a little work but once I picked it’s great.

Make Great Tasting Lattes at Home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so excited to finally have a great espresso machine. It works fabulously! I actually worked at a coffee shop during college and this machine is very similar to the one we had at the coffee shop. It grinds the beans to your desired coarseness, brews the espresso shot, and steams your milk. I was particularly impressed with how quickly and well the steamer is able to froth milk - even plant based milks. For a hot latte this machine is fantastic, but I tried to use the cold extraction option to make an iced coffee and the espresso shot was very weak. In the future I will probably just brew hot coffee ahead of time and refrigerate it. Overall, I love the machine and am so happy to be able to make great tasting lattes at home!
