[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how quickly the clothes dry, plus the wrinkle free setting. Also, very important to me is the big wide door on the dryer to help keep clothes off the floor when loading and unloading the dryer.

Very quiet, but not as warm at medium setting as m

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very quiet, but not as warm on settings as the 20 year old Amana it is replacing. Does that have to do with energy savings? Capacity is good. To new to rate durability now. Tumbling and wrinkle prevention are ok if you empty right after cycle.

A solid middle of the road drier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing fancy. Just good old fashion knobs and timer to control the drier. It does take longer to dry most likely because the BTU (heat) input is less than my old 32 year old Kenmore gas drier. That seem to be a common complaint about all new makes and models of dryers today. The auto dry settings (more, normal & less dry) are spaced very close together on the dial. When there is a large load of towels I need to set the dial past the "more dry" mark to completely dry the load on the first go around but it does dry them completely. For the price and simple features, I would recommend the dryer. I am not a fan of all the fancy electronic settings that are on the next model up. I don't want to program the drier. I want to simply set the dial and forget it until the finish buzzer sounds. I like the large hamper door as opposed to a door that swings open. Clothes don't wind up on the floor because the hamper door acts like a shelf to catch them. As for noise level, just for fun I took out my sound level meter and measured it from 3 feet back. "A" weighted sound was 60db and "C" weighted sound was 70db. I have only had the drier for 2 months. Time will tell how durable it is.

Perfect size

Loose screws in the bottom of the dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer came with stray screws scattered all in the bottom of the dryer. This is obviously a problem that occurred during manufacturing., however hoping these loose screws didn’t come loose from a component in the dryer!
When the dryer is running it has a rattling sound! Very an! I’m very disappointed!

Large capacity - a plus and minus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is large capacity and seems deeper than previous dryers I have owned. That said, for an older person, it can sometimes be difficut to empty the dryer, having to bend down and really reach in to retieve the clothes. It also seems to "run hot." I do not trust the "dampness control" settings as the clothes get too dry on them.
