Good affordable monitor for casual gamers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Acer ED270R is a nice budget friendly curved gaming monitor that delivers solid performance for its price. The connection ports at the back of the screen are at a great angle compared to my other screens. The attached pictures show all the accessories it comes with, although a philips screw driver is needed to connect the stand. With its 27-inch, 1500R VA panel, the curved screen creates an immersive experience, particularly suited for gaming and entertainment. I tested it on Valorant and BO6, both of which felt good on the screen. The 165Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync ensure smooth visuals with minimal tearing. The curved feature made me completely immersed in the game and I enjoyed it much more than a flat screen. However, the Full HD resolution on a screen this size results in a lower pixel density, which can make text and details appear less sharp. While the VA panel offers vibrant colors and deep contrast, it struggles with slower response times, leading to occasional ghosting in darker scenes. Overall, it did feel pretty dim compared to my other monitors, even after playing around with the settings. The sound quality was ok, but I would recommend external speakers/headphones. Overall, the ED270R is a great option for casual gamers or anyone seeking an affordable, immersive display, though professionals or competitive gamers might prefer a higher resolution or faster panel.

It’s a no for us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THE Screen quality was good the comfort was OK however he didn’t come with speakers which we were unaware of so we had to use headphones connected OK the screen quality was amazing but it kept on in the middle of my son playing a game at the screen would go black there was a line running through it like it might’ve gotten dropped during shipping or something I did not like understand was the stand on the adjustability was No good and I would not recommend buying this monitor for anybody The sound quality on the headphones was good but like I said we didn’t have speakers so we couldn’t really put it to the full test and I was not aware of it not coming with speakers I do not recommend this product
